During the Civil War....Biafran forces refined oil in refineries similar to the one shown above.

Really....you do not need big equipment to refine fuel. The reason why the refineries at say Port Harcourt for example are so big is because they refine fuel into over ten or more products. This chap...I don't know..I am guessing....probably just was producing fuel.

The government is unable to refine crude oil and will not allow those who can, to do their business. Government should give them license and supply crude oil to them officially so that they can contribute their own quota for the growth of the economy. Enough of this harassment.

This local refinery makes me to understand that, those at the top don't want any refinery in Nigeria to operate in full scale or even stop production.. I mean if people can refine crude oil locally what's stopping the our government from making our refineries to function well...?
