Noisy govt always acting for the media

Okorocha desperate for media mentions.

What proof from this pic indicates illegal refinery? This could easily be diesel holding tanks
Grasses growing around the tanks indicate no activities around those area for a while
And why civil defence?... what happened to the police or JTF?

Look this clown defending his kinsmen; bigot.

The government is unable to refine crude oil and will not allow those who can, to do their business. Government should give them license and supply crude oil to them officially so that they can contribute their own quota for the growth of the economy. Enough of this harassment.

Hahaha

No mind the useless government playing to the gallery.

Illiterate pig

That's illegal , is it the government that will give them license ? Or they are suppose to meet with the government if they want to start a refinery

Now tell me those people living around them, if those tanks suddenly catch fire someday, what will happen to the lives of those people ? And after then you PDP pigs will blame Okorocha for not protecting his own people

Or na inside house compound refinery suppose be ?

Fool

I may support what u said a little but asking why civil defence makes me wonder if u don't knw the core mandate of civil defence. Anti vandal activities is not for JTF or police.it is civil defence duty. I'm sure u are a nigeria sir.are u not?

If you dont know, Civil Defence is the only security agency that is statutorily empowered to tackle oil theft, vandalism and protection of critical asset of the country. The JTF comprises Civil Defence and Army.

This local refinery makes me to understand that, those at the top don't want any refinery in Nigeria to operate in full scale or even stop production.. I mean if people can refine crude oil locally what's stopping the our government from making our refineries to function well...?

You just spoke my mind and that is what I have being wondering.
Is setting up a modern functioning refinery not cheaper or more affordable to build than Centenarian project

U're right, what this people need is license to refine. As long as they can fulfill the safety regulations, I see no reason why they should not refine. Untill we learn to do the right thing, we wont grow. In Indoneasia, almost anybody can refine fuel once he's fulfilled the safety rules. Many households refine fuels on daily basis and sell to the market based on their production capacity, so why cant it be possible in nigeria? The more we have small scale refiners, the more we have cheap fuels around us to use.
