Visitors to Dubai are been approached on investments opportunities in Dubai. They either call your hotel room and invite you for a meeting or they approach you at popular public malls. They have Nigerian sales agents working for them. This investment is basically on buying apartment week at luxury apartments and hotels that they will manage for you within which you will recover your money within a short time and start receiving the benefits. This promise comes with other mouth watery promises. pls, do not even think of it if you are not rich because after putting pen to paper which you will be allowed to pay instalmentally, because whoever told you about the company managing the place for you will disappear. It becomes a liability as you continue to pay your instalments with no hope of getting back your money and you will be compelled to be visiting Dubai once a yr to use it because even though you choose not to use it you will still pay the annual maintenance fee of almost 200,000Naira. Again, their laws are different. You will have the apartment for 99yrs but it is as long as you are alive. Your next of kin cannot take possession after your demise. You cannot sell it off until you complete your payment and selling it will be a challenge. These apartment weeks are not chicken change, they cost millions of Naira.

They are all clubs for the rich and not an investment.

The big company amongst them is Arabian Falcon in charge of the Palms. The get your details on arrival into Dubai and call your hotel room to set up a meeting. They even give you tickets to attend tourist attractions at the meetings.

Please, be warned!!!

Their cagey sales reps, mostly Arabs from North Africa, with their guttural accents.
Met them on several occasions. You'll have to be really slow to think there's no catch in their sales pitch.

They have quickly come to the conclusion that Nigerians have money to throw around, and so they even hang around baggage claims at the airport whenever a flight arrives from Nigeria.
Don't blame them, because our very corrupt public officials are their regular customers. So, they can be pardoned to believe that we are all stupidly rich.
