inno4u: It's not a must. Use the accommodation you are going to stay. However, that part is optional. 4 Likes |

Helo Everyone. I got a refusal mail yesterday for birthing in Canada and I’m 28weeks today. Going forward I’m looking at applying to Brazil for same purpose. Pls just some few questions. What are my chances of getting the visa after a refusal from Canada? What’s there processing time like?, inorder for me to be able to fly on time. I have no travel experience which was the result of my refusal, does that count here? Quick response will be appreciated as I’m emotionally down now but I still don’t wanna give up on this dream. Bless up to all them gurus here. |

Modernist:Yea that's like the third trimester I forgot It'll take abt 3months plus for this process by then I do think it might be too late.. The good news is she can try next time and still secure a PR for this child... Just go through the thread it's pretty straight forward 2 Likes |

chriscole: does that mean there is no hope for people who are showing already even though the person has some available time to accommodate the processing time of 3months? |
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by chriscole(f): 3:30pm On Nov 21, 2019 |
Trizadove:If you where a VO would you approve a tourist visa for a full grown pregnant woman? Even at the POE they have the right to send you back if they smell ur intentions be smart...lastly there's no specific time frame it could be 3 months more or less |
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by Neneokoye: 5:50pm On Nov 22, 2019 |
chriscole: Thanks for the response, I just want to know, what about when you truly want to declare your intentions, like applying for a medical visa. |

Well, just leave that column as it is, if you notice, they already checked the unknown checkbox for you, so just leave it as it is...meaning its optional and ItiadeE: |

Sorry about the refusal at the Canadian embassy, at the moment the visa processing time takes about 7/8 weeks, so am afraid you might not be able to meet up with time again. However, if you still want to just do it to secure a second passport for your child and probably not considering the PR you will get in brazil for you as parents, you can try countries like Chile, Argentina,Peru, Panama or some other south america countries. Actually, most south and north america countries offer citizenship by birth to children of foreign parents, just that Brazil has more advantages than others, so if you are still willing, I will advice you to try other countries asap and secure the second passport for your child and then for the next baby, you plan for Brazil so your whole family can eat and benefit from the good fruit of the Brazil land Cheers Neneokoye: 2 Likes |

Actually, if your pregnancy is obvious, there is a slim chance of you getting the visa cos they already know your intentions Trizadove: |

Another reason to give birth in Brazil Good news guys. Brazil has now entered the US Global Entry Program for Low-risk Travelers run by the US Customs. This means that most Brazilians with a US visa and considered low risk by the embassy will no more be required to pass through immigration (physical immigration officers) but rather put their Brazilian passport in an automated machine at the airport and the doors will open to enter the US without coming into contact with any US immigration officers. The agreement was signed yesterday. This is very good news for those wanting to give birth to future children in the US. Considering the fact that Brazilians are generally granted a 10 year US visa, you will no longer have to fear appearing before an officer at the POE with a big stomach. My advice... make Brazil your first choice for giving birth. Get your own passport in 1 year and everything else will fall in place. Brazilian passport has a promising future. Be smart... Adjo10: That has been in existence for a while tho. Most travellers have to use the automated machine, print out a receipt which will determine if you have to physically go through immigration officer |
