before I met this my new Igbo male housemate

I used to have a bad perception of Igbo men

I thought all were heartless and mean, rude
Igbo men never treated me right, they all looked down on me

this my new friend has been a blessing to me

whenever he's cooking, he calls me downstairs, so I can gist with him because he finds me interesting

he took me to church last Sunday
he made me feel like on top on the world

he sat beside me on the bus while going to church (the church bus takes us from a particular area since the church is far for some people)
he ignored all his friends and sat beside me

in church, he also sat beside me
