Gazzuss forget jare. With the pre purchase inspection you did for Scott. He still bought a dead car with no engine and gear at very expensive price.

How dead?
At what price?
What car?
Let's judge.

Probably the seller bribed GAZZUZZ, so he gain in both ways.

Don't trust any mechanic take 2 or 3 more mechanic to go for inspection, b4 concluding.

Most car sellers negotiate with mechanics behind your back.

The business can't be profitable in Ibadan for now due to the lack of high profile companies in Ibadan, Lagos drivers are still struggling to survive in the business due to saturation of drivers in the e-hailing.

Are you in essence saying that this e-hailing business is not worth doing at all in Ibadan?

Nope... I stand to correct this because I was involved in the purchase process. Scot was told to overhaul Engine, transmission and AC (he didn't have d finance power)... Or Use/manage the car for say 1-2months and overhaul if finances isn't available... There are records to proof this. Please never say things u were not involved in the process or listen to only the one with the pains.

The ride was negotiated about 780k by Scot due to the fact the transmission was noted to be 'slipping' and other works was due.

grin 780k for Kio rio without engine and gear ? If he wants to refurbish the car to standard,Do u think it will be less than 400k to do it ? From my analysis, there's a miscalculation and misinformation as the buyer can still get a good car with sound engine and gear that is within his budget. Carshopper this is definitely ur car as we all know ur chairman of dead Kia rio.Sound kia rio is being sold at 700k . Seriously damilarh ur friend really fall mugu for Gazzus and carshopper

One of the things that pisses me off on this job has started this 2019.
Got a request at Ebute Meta, called the rider to confirm her location, fortunately the pickup location was wrong, buh was able to get to her pickup location, got there called this babe that am here, she said okay am coming, 15min later still called again she said she's on her way down, it took her another 10min to get to me, okay I started trip, was on my way she started grumbling that I should drive faster that shes late, lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed I was angered by that but I kept quiet and increased my speed a little from steady 80 to 90-100km. We finally got to her destination only for her to call the man that she came to see that she's here, the man told her to give him 10min his coming, we were inside the car for 30min waiting, this young lady could not even say sorry for the wait/delay

It's high time I start telling this people my mind.

A similar thing happened to me. After I waited for 30m as soon as the two ladies entered the car I started the trip, the next thing I hear was that, oga have you started the trip already I said yes, she said let me see your phone, I showed her and she saw 19m which means the time it will take us from elegushi beach to farmcity lekki, the next thing I hear, oga you have started the trip 19m ago.... I was very angry, I just stopped and asked them to get out of the car.

it is not their fault. na Uber and Taxify cause am.

What is Sacrosanct about e-hailing which many still fail to realize and keep in mind is that it was not designed with weekly rental payments in mind at best maybe HP and even the HP of very fair repayment not the cut throat rates that many HP come along with today. It is for Driver partners who after two years hopefully can change their card because a 2 year vehicle on Uber full time will become dead in no time...
E-hailing is here to stay because for as long as the regular taxi cannot meet the standard of an average uber/taxify people would keep turning to them and abandon the yellow fellows...however as more drivers join the platform I see rentals going even lower to 15/20k weekly because December rush is over, we are back to Reality..

One girl wanted to do that to me one day. After getting to her final destination, the person she wants to see wasn't around and she wants to chill inside my car. After 3mins, I politely asked if we are in her final destination and she said yes. na him I end the trip, tell her I've ended the trip and she could get down.

My job has been done by picking her from the pick up location and dropping her off at her final destination. My car no be waiting room

he's minding his business, that means you know what to do.what if it turns out right for him? The negative energy you peeps are spewing on this thread is very appalling. Has the December blues faded already? You complain ,yet in the business. let everyone that's interested cast their lines, whether e go catch fish or not,is left to God.
As for me,all this complaints just makes me defiant the more.I'm coming onboard the business very soon,Insha Allah. I will not be dissuaded. Instead, tell your friend to test the waters, one car at a time .
