Only a dictator, monarch, or despot can RULE.
In a democratic setting it's a mark of illiteracy to use the word RULE.

Rule: Exercise ultimate power or authority over (an area and its people). (as a verb)

When someone is said to be ruling, the implication is that there are no written laws, no constitution,no term limits and no balance of powers (judiciary, legislature, media, civil institutions). Perhaps it's our long history with dictatorship that makes us misuse the word so frequently but please stop saying that anyone is 'ruling' you, because that means you have no rights. People will be pro-GEJ and pro-MB and insult them by calling them 'rulers'.

Please learn the words you use

special mention to the word REGIME. Can we please stop using the word Regime to describe democratically elected governments? This is the same razz behaviour that makes us call Petroleum Jelly Vaseline, and all pens Bics

re·gime
rəˈZHēm,rāˈZHēm/
noun
1.
a government, especially an authoritarian one.

Again, Regime implies dictatorship and illegitimacy of a government. It is an insult to a government to call it a regime. This is why the BBC will call the North Korean government a Regime, and their own an Administration. In fact, find an example of a British person calling their government of today a Regime or saying that it's Ruling and i'll rest. Stop the razzness.

Are we not being ruled?

I'm a PDP supporter. I can say we are because I'm against the current government. The issue is APC people will say it as well LOL. With razz-pride and ignorance. If they believe they're being ruled and they're so proud of this then they're truly insane and stup8d. If they didn't know the word doesn't mean the same as 'govern' then they're just stup8d
