Good job, Yes!! Excellent, No. Mind you Excellent is A1 in any examination.

We could grace him Very Good even, but not excellent. I believe He could have done so much better than he did if only he was more decisive as I stated above.

Also you are right about the media propaganda, but it still boils down to that decisiveness because he was the C-in-C. The government could have floated equally vibrant media houses to sing his praises.

Anyway, I'm still a GEJ lover kiss
Cheers.

The Yoruba control the media in nigeria, almost all the newspapers here belong to dem. GEJ simply lost because Yoruba, Hausa n all Muslims in nigeria teamed up to oust him

grin... my point exactly!

It's hard for anybody else to match Jonathan's ineptitude.

Nobody in their right senses will say that stealing is not corruption.

No sane person will say "how much money did Nwobodo steal? "Money not up to the price of Peugeot car"

I mean, no right thinking person will oversee Nigeria's most successful years revenue wise and still amass the amounts of debts GEJ has, even to the point of struggling to pay Salaries.

No leader can ever polarize Nigeria along ethnic and religious lines like he has.

Nigerians are saner, nobody is crazy enough to usurp GEJ in these glorious positions.

To better these "achievements", one has to resurrect Mohamed Suharto a Nigerian!

You're so stuupid, it hurts.

Oh..i dont have time to listen to the gibberish the illiterate mallam spits any time he opens his mouth...that accent excuse doesnt hold water with me and a 100 million others, like I said he's not the first Hausa man with an accent. If people like you can be so dumb to admit he speaks Engrish* , I'm afraid I wasn't taught the same Language in school..but since you asked for it, I'll get them plastered all over your face. Written speeches are nothing, atleast he can read (phew! thank goodness for that) but his interviews are NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT!

I don't know about the 100 million ypu speak for, or how they elected you to that position.

However I'm yet to be given specific instances of his verbal illiteracy. Im not saying he didn't make any, but to validate your posturing you need to mention instances.

Different people have different levels of accents. Have you ever heard foreign presidents from china, india, japan, france speak english? They've accents but does that make them Illiterates?

Your concern is dislike personally for the man. That's ok, i thoroughly despise Jonathan too. I'm not here to convince you of anything.

We dumb fuccks deserve our chosen president, warts, accent and all. We can never be happier with our choice. Thus the pained personal attacks of a privileged minority is of no consequence in the grand scheme of things.

PMB has the herculean task of resetting the foibles of GEJ to bother about the necessary political irritants who will only have their say and not their way.

PMB is busying blaming govt instead of fostering development and love in the country. Is buhari a magician? Who implemented the whole stuffs Nigerians are enjoying like constant power supply, railway systems and others.. It was all done by GEJ so i believe PMB and his APC-led federal government is a taking government.

this is not an achievement so long inflation is still the order of the day.

That was a 227.7% increment.

Inflation rate has been fluctuating but has also declined marginally in the period under reference, from 17.86% in 2005 to 5.38% in 2007 to 13.72% in 2010 to 8.06% in 2014

But even if you are referring to the real-cost-of-living-index (the consumer price index), changes from 2011 (that was when the increment was effected) to 2014 is 31.54%.

Ur not well. Saraki is the leader of the Senate. Any senator is allowed to back him in times of an allegation. Wen he's found guilty, senators who deem it fit will walk away from him.

He's innocent until proven guilty.

We are reaping the fruits of lies and propaganda already. GEJ is a hero take it or leave it sir. How good are our roads now, just 6 months into this new 'change' government. Posterity will judge all men. God bless Nigeria.
You mean after handing over to Pmb, the APC started creating potholes on all the good roads built by Gej. May be Pdp built substandard roads, thats why the potholes have emerged or built nothing. A well built road should take years b4 any sign of defect.

By the figure they dished out to you. Do they tell you that the Nigeria economy was the biggest and the most robust in Africa? You guys will just making me laugh and laugh. Industries increased their production facilities during his reign but no corresponding effect in the market. The amount and price will buy Indomie, rice, yam, beans in year 2009, the most patronise staple food is the same price we're still buying them till date but some people will still be shutting increase in Agricultural production. That's the same thing they want PMB to be doing dishing out lies to people just to colour his administration in good light why to the contrary things are upside down. Why must we continue to live in lie and falsehood living?
The only thing GEJ did and he was successful in are:
1. he allowed freedom of speech
2. He entrenched corruption and impunity
3. He allowed more female participation in governance
4. He empowered individuals working for him in wealth and neglect future legacy as done by Fayose today in Ekiti
5. He changed the orientation of the nation that stealing is not corruption and many more that time will not permit me to state.

The emboldened part makes no sense..

The price of commodities remained fairly stable throughout the tenure of Mr. GEJ despite the fall in the value of Naira..

You'll start getting the kinda reduction in prices you are talking about when supply becomes far far bigger than demand.. We are not there yet.. but we'll get there if PMB can encourage industries the way GEJ did..

But as you can see, the opposite is the case

Please what hate?
I don't hate anyone I just asked a question please tell me which brand new car in nigeria is less than 1.8m naira?

So how do civil servants afford to buy them?

The average house anywhere in nigeria is 10m so whicj houses or mortgage facilities were provided!

Regular Nigerians owned businesses which thrived under the last administration. They own farms, schools, consultancies etc. They own record labels, fashion houses etc.

Regular Nigerians own IT start-ups that became huge in the last 5 years. They own restaurants, hotels, construction outfits etc. They are professionals, lawyers, broker/dealers, accountants, media practitioners, photographers etc. They sweated, labored and were rewarded with good returns.

They really don't need any loan from any bank. They did not steal anyone's money. Many of them didn't work for government, they just took advantage of the enabling environment by the past administration.

Similarly, civil servants and teachers took advantage of the increment in their salaries to embark on capital projects - livable houses for their families, for example. Dangote literally made his fortunes on the back of that - local housing construction industry.

They formed/joined cooperative unions. They started Esusu schemes with the 'extras'. They did periodic contributions. Ten/twenty people coming together to make contributions gives a lump-sum. These give them the needed capital outlay for the housing projects. The effective interest rates are minimal, sometimes they tend to zero. This is more effective than any mortgage system. They don't need it.

(Africans/Nigerians don't understand formal mortgage system, it's too complicated for our culture. And financial institutions too don't have any idea on how to customize it. Having to transfer your land's title, C of O, to a financial institution and paying interest in perpetuity is too foreign. Too many complexities. Maybe that's why you are looking for the non-existing mortgage facilities.)

They are not stealing anyone's money. They took advantage of the what they have. You don't have to demonize people.

Though many Nigerians did not appreciate him but surely they will wish he had continued because he loved this country and was genuinely concerned about the plight of the poor and greatness of Nigeria. The same poor he worked for believed lies and propaganda and for a piece of lie they through away their future. Now all the "change" chanters are crying and suffering because the papa in the house does not have any clue on what to do. Unfortunately all that Jonathan put in place for a vibrant economic rebirth are either being changed or destroyed because the papa in the house does not know how to continue.
GEJ and NOI may the almighty God bless both of you for having a thought for the poor.
