My take on all this OP is that the calibre of people who are often reported as rapists in Nigeria do not look like people who would ordinarily have so much data access to be able to watch porn and the likes. Where is the correlation between access to porn site and increasing rape cases in Nigeria? Actually pornography is addictive but me think people who watch porn a lot do it only as a hobby and not to cause harm to others.

Validated by which source? Skewed and manipulated Data is one of the reason 3rd world countries continue to remain slaves to the more advanced countries. A reasonable person understands the points I brought out from my own little analysis but then again from what you wrote you don't seem reasonable. For goodness sake you think Norway and Sweden are not religious countries, you are truly f*cked!

I would have responded to you but the fact that you equated religiosity in Nigeria and that in scandinavia is just too much for me grin grin grin grin.
Your case is truly worse than trying to fetch water with a basket.
I won't waste my time on you. Now scurry off to the hole whence you crept from with your tecno and 250 mb data plan.

3rd World countries are slaves because of collective greed. Nigeria has made enough money from oil to move itself to the level of dubai. But leaders are thieves and followers are too busy waiting for their turn to hammer so they don;t mind...
But no, keep blaming the west...who by the way you all were looking for when ebola struck..

Selective blaming.

I dont know why im even answering you.

Another example of ignorance, do you people just type just for typing sake? You know nothing about me yet you make assumptions based on your own quack analysis. Even if I was based in Nigeria, I would definitely not be using a Techno phone!

Learn to comprehend instead of just reading, no one is blaming the West for our woes rather I'm blaming our Nigerian people for over dependence on Western principles. We have enough resources to be able to compete with the more advanced countries but lack the patriotism.

What else can you do beyond good training?
The sheer ease of access is what bewilders me.
Growing up pornographic materials were scarce even sex sef was not easy to access. Even bad kids had to make a lot of effort to indulge.
Now....................................

What is well-trained to you might not measure up to that of others.
But what can be done about access, since government isn't yet waking up to its responsibilities?

Sorry to say but most Nigerians are so retārdēd and backward, claiming that Nigerians don't watch gay porn because you as an individual don't watch it is very laughable. So if a guy/girl is watching gay pørn they'll come and tell you?
Yea!! I guess they'll be like "Bro/sis I know I live in a country where its illegal to be gay but I still watch gay pørn" grin
You people should learn to speak for yourself alone. I once saw gay pørn on a guy's phone (A real negro) I dunno if he's gay, bisexual or even straight. Now if I didn't see that video and someone came to me to tell me that the guy watches gay pørn I wouldn't have believed him or her, I would even swear that the guy can't do such thing. So you can't actually use what you will do or not do to judge what others will do or not do.

BTW
Nigerians need to stop watching too much pōrn

There are different categories and caliber of rapists. Yes, certain people make the news like pastor, popular figure, very old man etc. However, it doesn't mean they are the only ones or that such crime is new. The dangers we face are that young people want to practice and expect what they've watched on people, by force, on girlfriends or God forbid family, as revenge or payback, as jungle justice etc. It's harder to catch or even report such.

True. Funny part is dat 90percent of effeminate guys are not gays. From my knowledge of gays, they are usually masculine and they like masculine men

Actually, in the President's mind and in the Nigerian Constitution, homosexuality is illegal. The Western world wants it legalized but nobody is under the illusion that crime and illegality doesn't happen. What we need to build on are strong institutions that can prosecute, penalize and punish crime effectively.

Re: Nigerians, We’ve Got A Sexuality Problem by MrsChima(f): 12:31pm On Nov 14, 2015
This thread is funny! grin. I was at a function a few weeks back and heard a debate between a white couple and a Nigerian couple.

The white couple stated that sex is meant to be fun and enjotable. There shouldn't be any sexual dysfunction or depravity. The Nigerian couple responded saying sex is between married couples and non-married couples shouldn't fornicate and focus on God. After 30 minutes of "proving their points", the white man said to the Nigerian man, "you preached about fornication and focusing on God, we're you thinking about God when you committed adultery with my wife?"

The looks on the faces were priceless!

The bottom line is this religious folks aren't perfect and they make mistakes, but the issue with many of them especially religious Africans is that many of them think their sh1t do not smell and their sins aren't as heavy as others. A sin is a sin is a sin.

Pornography, if not shared within sole married couple is a sin because you are defiling your marital bed. If anything interrupted or caused conflicting and confusion is defiling! It looks innocent to watch a bunch of actors pretending or not pretending in coitus.

If you needs to watch porn to get motivated and aroused to have relations with your spouse is absurd. There is a huge disconnect between the couples and what you put into your marriage will come out eventually.

What is done in the dark will comes to light and I can testify to that! I am not concern about single couples who have not made a commitment to one another but when you make a vow before God that is tremendously different.

I know the atheists and the whatevers will not agree but it isn't about you.

Sex dysfunction is one of the main reasons couples divorce or separate. A simple porn is all it takes to plant a seed of confusion and cinfliction.

Maybe that's why Nigerians aren't so open about sex and the dysfunction because they aren't willing to be honest and call a spade a spade.

i guess you are one of those kids with free data, however that doesn't give you a right to misbehave or insult others. This is a public discussion forum (i.E Nairaland), if you need privacy, you can make use of private email, personal WhatsApp or Bbm chats, or the P.O.Box or DHL. You indeed wrote poorly both spelling and grammar, making it difficult to understand your position/point. Anyway if you insist, no problem, take note not to be shocked next time in a public forum. Here's your post again in brackets
