or

is friendzone only when you have a thing for her and she doesn't see you that way.

it's not so much the lack of feelings for each other as it is about the possibility of developing those feelings later on. Spend enough time around each other sharing personal stuff and It's definitely going to stir up trouble,for one or both parties. So feelings or no feelings...... the potential attraction alone makes it friendzoning....mutual or otherwise.
