Igbos are Ijaw slaves. ALWAYS have been ALWAYS will be. The thought of a slave grabbing his master's land (in the name of Biafra) is ridiculous. If you are Ijaw, you need not worry. Igbos will continue to bow to their masters, the Ijaw. God bless the Great Izon Nation. God bless Nigeria. God curse Biafra. 1 Like 1 Share |

OP I know that's why I refuse to allow any Ijaw, Yoloba, Edo or whoever try to push me down to "minority". I used to think Edo and Yoloba are cunning mofos. I used to be suspicious of Ijaw only but NL have opened my eyes very well. All three, ijaw, edo and yoloba are cunning mofos. My grandfather was among those killed during asaba massacre for refusing to deny his igbo heritage. My grandad rather die than deny who he was. Till date, he's my hero and I'll forever follow my hero's footstep. I am proud of my Igbo heritage. I'll die proud of my Igbo heritage. Anyone out there who does not like it, can kindly kiss my bottom 23 Likes |

Truckpusher:Its quite funny having discussion with a confused so called Rivers man especially the Igbo speaking ones. The trio of Ikwere, Ogba and Ekpeye are said to be brothers but their dialects still differ substantially. Again its quite funny how only Ogba uses the word 'Oba' for the title of the her traditional ruler while the other ones maintained 'Eze'. I really wish to see the day the Ikweres will change theirs too to complete the metamorphosis. I know its pride and lack of exposure that breeds the kind of prejudice you have for your upland brothers. With time it will fizzle away. Lol 3 Likes |

Truckpusher: Of course they are a "distinct" group of ethnicities so why are you calling them a people? What is SS people? What connection has an Oron man and an Urohbo man? What connection has an Efik man with an Itshekiri man? Yet you call them a people? We see a lot of people here on Nairaland telling other ethnic groups not to speak for them but people like you will get up and claim you are speaking for more than 30 distinct ethnic groups in the south-South geo-political zone. Nobody is deceiving anyone here. Speak only for your ethnic group and leave the rest to speak for themselves. 15 Likes |

Truckpusher:My feelings are inconsequential to the reality on ground. I only state things as they are and try to put things in the right perspective with historical facts. I have conversed with etche indigenes and have visited there(Ozuzu etche) and can confidently tell anyone that they are 100% Ndigbo, a fraction of denials not withstanding. Etche even have an Isu group among them. My very good friend from Imo state but born and raised in Omoku told me a lot about the Ogba people. He speaks the dialect very well. The Igbo denial is there too at an alarming rate but their culture and traditions are not different from their immediate neighbours- the egbemas. The dialect is 50% intelligible to any Igbo who understands Igbo Izugbe. Their totemic respect of dogs and collective resolve to shield away their ethnic brothers and all what not. I recently understand that a lot of progressive changes have began anyway as it will be to their own benefit. They are still Igbos not withstanding the turbulent times they passed through under the evil Nigerian government and media. He told me their fears which is but infantile in my estimate. The free and constant power supply plus free money they get from AGIP which they wouldn't want to trade for any other thing in this world. If you are from Ogba like you said you will know I'm saying the truth just as it is. They agreeing that they are Ndigbo will not make the upland Igbos to come and depose their kings and take over their lands like many of you erroneously reason. Lol. No Igbo man gives a hoot about that. We are spread to all the corners of the world making money and you are thinking of your small Omoku. Only the number of Ndigbo in Warri- a non Igbo oil city, is far more than the entire people in Omoku so tell me how claiming your Igbo heritage will take away the crumbs you're getting from your oppressors will be damaged? Like I said before, its pride and ignorance (lack of exposure) that's responsible for most of the denials you lots have. 12 Likes |

TonyeBarcanista: sir, we will take the insult of calling us incosequential and lacks bargaing chip, we will also take that of inferiority complex. You dont see it as inferiority by creating threads aimed at dividing igbo unity but you see inferiority in i creating threads that unite our people. Pls. I will ask you to do me a favour of moving out of my thread because it was clearly stated that this thread is for ss igbo 15 Likes |
