Casting crowns is the top for me. They have got those lyrics very unique. Check out east to west Philip dean and craig do the worship rock well Francesca Batisteli gives me inspiration. The list goes on. Point of grace, news boys, jeremy camp, barlow girl, , But i tìnk casting crowns is just right. |

i've not listened to many christian metal songs, would check them out. some of the ones i've listened to and like are Switchfoot, jars of clay, barlowgirl, sonic flood, third day, kutless, the afters, relient k. but i prefer christian contemporary/alternative music: casting crowns, chris tomlin, michael w. smith, jeremy camp, avalon, mercy me, david crowder band, Hillsong, tenth avenue north etc, they're just terrific! bluespice: i also like Relient K, Be My Escape was once my anthem. |

davidylan (m) I dont listen to them, i go read them up. they dont inspire me to be honest. We had a rock guy lead worship on sunday and i was totally lost, all i could hear was loud clanging guitars and plenty of screaming. you dont need to scream to worship the Lord. @David, who are you to determine how one worships God or what is acceptable to him? Be careful on how you criticize what is good or not so that you don't end up like David's wife in the bible who criticized David on how he was 'making a fool of himself' while dancing. Him and Him alone is the Judge of all actions and intentions. So watch it. |

I'm not a big fan of Gospel music (though i'm really big on Rock) so when a friend game me a large collection of WOW hits some months back i listened to them a little then i trashed. but a little over a month ago in my time of difficulty i reconsidered and found the songs below very uplifting. can't seem to get enough of them especially: tree_63's :look_what_youve_done others are: building429- I Believe Audience Of One-Big Daddy Weave Breathe-Rebecca St. James God of Wonders-Third Day & Caedmon's Call Tim Hughes _ Here I Am To Worship Mute Math-Control Relient K -Getting Into You Tree63 _ Blessed Be Your Name our own Eben's, e ma ran ma and God dey are also highly recommended |
