Hi Feranchek they have started installing the prepaid meter for free. It is not to be bought. It all depends on the PHCN station around your axis. Okota-Ago area have about 50% of the prepaid meters now.

OP you are talking about 6k and 7k for ur bill... U even get luck! My lowest bill is 13k. They bring 16k at the end of month............. But that bill issue has been sorted sha! It no longer my problem since I discovered the Nepa men like bribe pass anytin. I pay 2k every month now. They will cut it then come back the next day to ask "oga u wan connect?"... For the past 8months I don't pay more than 2k except if there task force come then I ave to pay 2k extra.shikena!.... Dia fada! Na me they wan run dry.

I just left their office like an hour ago after giving them a showdown. Bloody thieves, they just sit in their offices and dish whatever they like as your Energy Consumption for the month...even with a Transformer that has been having problems for close to Six months!! Dem think say I plant money tree inside my house

A new Service Pre-paid Meter goes from between #25,000 to #50,000 depending on the type; single or double phase. Additional #10,000 goes to the Contractor that will do the installation. In all, you will have to cough out approximately #35,000 to N65,000 as the case may be. Prepaid Meter is the best way to go. Even Nepa abi PHCN staff, dem hate am, becos, e bi like TSA for their mind.
