I learnt it from biology. Short individuals mostly possess that trait of shortness which is being transfer through their genes to their offspring

That's sec school biology. Real life biology gives u more options.

Isn't it same biology that makes one inherit traits of the grandparents or even ancestors?

You need to step out more often and see things for urself tho.

Yeah it is, one or two of your grandparents may be tall which will make your parents to possess the trait for height Tt and Tt(T=tall,t=short)when this is cross breed a result of TT,Tt,Tt,tt offspring is being produced you may possess the gene of TT or Tt OR your parents may possess Tt & tt gene which when cross breed gives a result of Tt,tt,tt,tt you may luckily possess Tt too. Satisfied ?

but it's not good for two individuals that have a trait of shortness to partake in reproduction cause there is a probability that some or most of their offspring will be short. My dream man is 6.0ft and above
