No mention of advancement in science education in African schools?. No mention of investment in scientific research and development?. Without a revolution in science education in Africa, nothing can be done to create technology than beg/import from the west. Only an advancement in science will lead to building of our own technology and off grid power. I read a report that 40% of Germans generate their own electricity from January to December. This's because the society have a good knowledge of science and how to solve their problem using science. So, they've learned how to generate their own electricity and therefore have no business with government grid. Africa cannot develop without investment in grassroots science, because only science can solve the poverty problem of a nation. Every other thing being done is like treating the symptoms rather than the cause of an ailment. However, our worst problem lies in education and how knowledge acquisition happens in African schools. To even begin our journey towards development, we must boot out western education in Africa. |

juman: Finally a reasonable person. You think the money is really the problem? For years money wasn't the issue we had until recently but then every government was still going abroad to look for foreign investors. Yes looking inward is what we need. It turned Japan to a respected nation worldwide, imagine what we will achieve if we tell ourselves the truth and begin to grow what we have. Only then will other nations take us serious and come to do business not enslave us |

banki: LYING LIAR SPOTTED! As at mid 2005 when the debt was cleared, Nigeria had $42.4b in EXTERNAL debt. NOI's deal was to pay off $12.4b, and the remaining $30b was written off. www.euroafrica-magazine.com/index.php/positive-africa-2/317-innovative-programs-to-promote-safe-childbirth-practices113.html In mid 2015, 10 YEARS AFTER THE DEBT WAS CLEARED, when NOI left power, Nigeria's EXTERNAL debt stood at $6b. www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/n12trn-debt-profile-worsens-nigerias-woes/ Within this 10 years. NOI was in charge for only five years (2005 to 2006 and 2011 to 2015). So you see as a typical lying liar like your patron Lie Muhammed, you are pulling stats out of your arse. NOI cleared Nigeria's external debt in 2005 and by 2015 Nigeria only has about one-fifth of the external debt burden as at 2005. The woman is God-sent. You are a hater who will never meet good for labeling baseless lies against an hardworking woman. About the other trash you wrote, that is beside the point. -Lord 1 Like |

NigLasPresident: My dear don't believe everything you see. When you hold a position like that which she held in Nigeria you can fix many things for yourself. The west is the father of curruption so no surprise. Not every appointment comes with merit. I believe she did not attend that event in her personal capacity. It's possible that she merely read out her organisations position at the climate change event. If you take a close look at her position it's more like asking Africa to run when they can't crawl. It is called rabble rousing. Nuf Said... 1 Like |

cjudy:Dont mind those fuuls, they dont seem to know the extent to which Buhari has mismanaged the economy. I know for sure that if NOI is still here with us, things wont have become so bad, she would have deviced some paliatives that would absorb the knocks on our economy. This Kemi to me, is inexperienced at best & appears to be at a loss on what to do. Nigeria is more or less on auto-pilot & I am seeng a fog, a rugged terrain & a drop in elevation!!! I dont want to be caught unawares, I'm already making plans about leaving the country. What I am seeing from my telescope is very scary indeed. |
