Kokoaiye:
This is pretty disgusting! We have not forgotten that TINUBU and CHRONIES financed the protest against past government over subsidy payment based on the then idea that SUBSIDY was a SHAM.

Sincerely speaking I think we nigerians need a honest public press release on this issue for proper clarifications on WHAT IS SUBSIDY in the oil context? Does it not exist? If yes then who are those ripping us off financially as a nation? Does it exist as claimed by past administration? How MUCH of it was financed by past govt? Were the payment made to the genuine marketers? What is the range of the landing cost of fuel? What are the parameters that can cause disparity in landing cost that's if there is? Is there gonna be any removal? To what extent? Why? Why is removal better as oppose to its payment?

All this questions and many more are profusingly spewed out by many Nigerians. As a responsible govt, there is need for them to be placed in the corridors of answer as a way to bring succor to Nigerians who have sacrificed time and invest hopes and votes to usher in this new government.

Ultimately,Mr LIE MOHAMMED should please utilise TAXPAYERS money in answering this aforestated questions and not to provide ridiculous and redundant VINDICATIONS for there failure evident on the lingering FUEL SHORTAGE that has further wreak disaster on the already FRAGILE economy of the nation.

How do you want him to answer such technical question now. All these questions should have been during the public/media debate but APC refused to show up

GEJ took fuel price to #97 but APC protested, then he later went back to d drawing board and then reduce the price to #87. Hope you're aware that the official fuel price in nigeria is #97. This govt is a scam

Jonathan won't rest for the next 8 years. His name shall be used as a point of contact for anything that isn't working. I already see APC telling us after 4 years that we should give Buhari a second term because the first term was used to clean Jonathan's rot. The SCAM continues...

I believe this govt has nothing to offer because I feel so ashamed anytime I hear the blame game. We voted the APC for change and all they is blame and castigate the previous govt. it is a well known that fact that things have gone wrong from the past administration but please Lai Mohammed and all APC goons should get to work because that is the change we wanted

Anytime any pdp apologist or any Jonathan fan boy comes out to insult buhari or the apc and ask why they have not fixed all of Nigeria's problems in 6 months, the right approach would be always to remind them that pdp and Jonathan caused the problems for 16 years. APC should have no apologies about this.

Keep fooling yourself. We are all in this mess whether you are APC or PDP. They were voted in to solve these problems, so the onus is on us all to compel them to solve these problems. These sufferings are becoming rather unbearable and we must keep them on their toes so that we don't have another Jonathan.

This administration will keep blaming and never solve any problems. #PrayForNigeria
Re: Jonathan To Blame For Fuel Scarcity Says Lai Mohammed by Reference(m): 8:26am On Dec 22, 2015
Nigerians are so, so weak. I just can't understand it. What are we blaming Lai Mohammed for when we can all solve this problem. Nigerians import airplanes and complex machinery. Nigerians produce sustainable levels of cement and other materials. What is it about petrol if not corruption that prevents the ordinary man from making it or at least importing it. An when I mean ordinary man I mean the non establishment man. The man who is not in the club, cartel or system that is in control of this country and driving it to ruin. Restructure Nigeria and all thses problems will go away but you guys prefer suffering to 'real change'.

Rawani:
We know this already. Jonathan was no doubt a failure, a looter and now with revelations of how he diverted funds meant to eliminate Boko Haram, a human rights violator and potential ICC candidate.

However, as Minister of Information, we are more concerned in being given concrete facts on what is being done to alleviate the problem.

It's not enough to just blame Jonathan oga Lai. Tell Kachukwu the new chief fuel importer to sit up.
You would go on and on to complain about GEJ when Buhari keeps killing the economy. you are now calling Kachukwu the new chief fuel importer instead of calling Buhari your "acclaimed saint" who is also the minister of petroleum the new chief fuel importer.

Thank you very much for this. Is there any country that does not have debts?
Does anyone know how much America owes? Most people will be speechless.
A country's debt is always made up of both internal and external debts. No government anywhere in the world has 0 debt especially debt from local contractors/services which is where subsidy debt come in.

The only reason there was scarcity in April after GEJ lost election was because marketers were worried that the new government of GMB may not pay them. Otherwise, in 5 years of GEJ, Nigerians never suffered from fuel scarcity.

You are very correct on why there was fuel scarcity towards the end of Jonathan's tenure. That has always being my argument too. President Buhari body language was and is still negative towards the local business men. it was as if he won't need them to prosecute his government agenda. Being wary of that, the business people too are unwilling to committing their resources to help the country until they feel their interests will be protected. In life it is give and take, you rub my back, I rub your own. Let this government understand it needs the corporate world to bring about any meaningful change, it can't do it alone. All those outrageous fines help no one in the long run.
