He said: “Finally a hero emerges. Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Abuja has refused to hear the Nnamdi Kanu case that was assigned to him on the grounds that the executive and the security agencies no longer abide by court orders and rulings.

“It is men like this that inspire us and give us hope. Thank God there are still such courageous people on the Bench and in on our country.

This is why I believe that the various security apparatuses should be placed under the control of the Judiciary

The various Executive arm of government in Africa has totally abused court orders because the security apparatuses are under their control. cool

FFK will never seize to amaze me with his every comment he makes.
Kudos to the judge for taking a bold decision, what's the essence of making a judgement when the DSS and FG will not heed

Regardless of your party affiliations.
What FfK said is the truth.

Under OBJ, the executive stopped respecting court judgement. It was that impunity, Buhari and Tinubu protested against strenuously. Let's not forget the issues of the Lga in Lagos that the supreme Court passed judgment in favour of Lagos state.
Once Obj saw he could pick and choose court judgement he proceeded to seek third term.

Under Yaradua and Jonathan court judgements were respected.

Pres. Buhari has to be told along with his Justice minister to obey court rulings, irrespective of how it goes.

In any case if the State is so sure of its investigations, why should Kanu- not be set on bail.
Or placed under house arrest.
Take him back to court and try him.

The stages of dictatorship starts from choosing and ignoring court pronouncements.

Nnamdi Kanu have been tried and acquitted by a Magistrate Court and High Court. Both Court have ordered for is unconditional release but the DSS under Buhari disobeyed Court order.

Rather than comply, they present another charge to the same court system they flout its jurisdiction, rendering the legal process and system obsolete.

The DSS and Federal government have not recognized the jurisdiction of its own court and judgement. Nnamdi Kanu as the sitting Judge said is well within his right to challenge the jurisdiction of the court inview of non enforced judgement passed by court of same jurisdiction in earlier judgement.

The legal system is void and incapable.

Nnamdi Kanu will no longer participate in zoo court Trial, he has Dual citizenship and should opt for UK government to demand the release of their Citizen.

Firstly, A court ruling must be enforced and the federal court of Abuja ruled his detention on terrorism charges was unlawful whilst ordering his unconditional release.

It is now for the DSS to comply with the court Judgement and discharge Nnamdi Kanu from detention.

Nnamdi should press charges in UK against the Nigerian government of Buahri for kidnap.

Kudos to that great judge! The prolem is not bubu and his lawlessness but the so called activists who have sold their conscience to a piece of naira that the can't utter a word when laws are disrespected. maybe, the are too ashamed to condemn this administration after doing the job of campaign managers during last election.

Finally this FFK is becoming a great and fearless statesman by his continuous stand on d path of raw truth, fairness, egalitarianism and need to respect rule of law. As the day runs by, I am beginning to believe that FFK and Fayose are d greatest asset at d moment in this country that always rise up in defense of d common man irrespective of tribe, religion or political leaning. What most people do not know is dat d late Yar Adua and subsequently Gej paid great sacrifice to ensure we have rule of law and obedience to court judgements unlike in d days of Obj where implementation of court order is a function of his whims and caprices. Nnamdi Kalu has been able to let d whole world know dat d current govt do not obey court orders and thus prefers to remain in detention. Honestly that is heroic and legendary. It is even more instructive dat this particular judge dat rose up in defense of d judiciary vis-a-vis democracy is a northern Muslim. In d coming days I see other High court judges declining from handling this matter in order not to rubbish dia integrity. What d world may not v known is dat Kalu actually came in to pay d price of incarceration which any true freedom fighter all over d world must pay before becoming a colossus and with d Deputy Director Uche Mefor still maintaining daily airing at Radio Biafra; d idea remains more alive than d govt imagines. Once again, congrats to Justice Ahmed Ramat Mohammed and all d othee judges who have stood firm in d face of likely obvious executive intimidation and interference.
