The highest gionee flagship is the elife e8. Very powerful phone with qhd screen, 3gb of ram and 24mp camera. But the phone is ugly, doesn't look premium like the elife s series and the m5. LG g4 sure looks better, but performance wise I don't know , they both should match each other, though g4 runs snapdragon 808 which is a plus IMHO. The e8 has a fingerprint sensor that is lacking in the g4 though. I think it's a close call.

However, gionee wouldn't even bother selling their elife E8 in Nigeria because that phone ain't cheap. If they decide to sell it here the price would be between 100-120k, that's enough to buy a flagship Samsung, htc, LG and Sony.

Processor alone does not make a flagship. Mediatek 6795 is a top of the line processor used by most chinese phones to cut the cost. Not on the same level with snapdragon 808 or 810 but they are gradually getting there. A phone with qhd screen, 3gb of ram, 24mp camera, fingerprint sensor and premium price is a flagship phone, if doesn't matter if it runs mediatek or snapdragon. HTC one m9 plus is a flagship phone and it runs mediatek.

You haven't said anything here.
You can't compare devices with mid range SOC to that with a high end SOC.
if they are in the same price bracket then you can freely compare.
