First date are usually the most apprehensive and could be a catalyst on the outcome of/if there will be a relationship. You've to be calm, collective and know when to talk and clam.

You're interested in getting to know this person right? So ask her questions about her interest, aspirations and life targets. You could start by asking questions about their favourite music, movies and books etc. You should be able to know the next question to ask after each response. Don't ask about her past relationship, ex etc, that's a date killer.

A question like what have you been doing this week should be an ice breaker to kickstart the conversation after the normal salutations. Remember to compliment her dress, as it must have took her ages to prepare and think of what to wear for the date. Don't say stuff like you look hot or sexy, beautiful would suffice. There's no rule as to what to ask and whatnot, just ensure its within common sense and not offensive.

Don't plan on what to ask before setting out on the date to avoid floundering, just let it flow naturally. Be spontaneous and you've to make it interesting as much as you can. Ask her about her family and who she's more closest to and why. Also know when to discuss about yourself even if she didn't ask. This thing has no format mate. Just let it flow as the spirit leads.
