Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) , s the first petroleum University in Africa n sixth in the world, it was established in 2007 by Federal Government to train high level man power for the oil n gas and Allied companies. People often mistake it for( PTI) Petroleum Training Institute Effurun. Fupre is differ from PTI. Though schools are sited in Effurun Delta State.
