For years now....G and C was not advertise for DSSC...army prefer clinical psychologist to do the work of G and C.....plz apply for SSC...u mite be posted to education corps.....ur age will speak for u...

pls wat abt a B.Sc. in Mathematics? DSSC or SSC?

All the questions you guys are asking here have being answered in previous pages pls be diligent enough to read through the pages. Let the form come out first if your course of study is included you can go DSSC otherwise SSC is ur sure bet, I still insist you read through the pages most questions have being answered.

Under wich corps/directorates was it advertise?? Even clincial psychologist was not advertise the last recruitment......am sopose to apply clinical psy..but it not included.

The thing is wait for the Commencement of the form during the process u will be the judge may b u are needed in dssc or ssc

The Nigerian Army has an Engineering Corps, so you can apply for either DSSC or SSC, the main thing is to get there, and like most persons have said, wait for the forms to be released first.

If Civil Engineering is advertised under DSSC... then go for it.
But if it is not, then SSC is ya sure bet.

There aint a specific rumoured date yet, we all have to wait patiently.

The speculation is that 5 successful candidates would be taken from each state for training as officer cadets, this does not mean that all 5 would be commissioned. Some might not get commissioned if they flout rules during training, or the authorities discovered some falsified details when the carryout background check on cadets while training is on.

The fact is that, last time 50 candidates were picked per Geo political zone..
On average each state has about 8 candidates.

The number increased when they got to camp only because SSC always leave room for Foreign country to bring their cadets too to participate.

Since the Army started doing the SSC/DSSC recruitment every 2years, the final list increased from 5 per state to 50 per Geopolitical zones and that's about 8 per state.

According to those who passed out last year they did not expel anybody during training, either on health or otherwise.

Dont go and write this kind of English in your SSC exam o when time comes.
It is "All other things being equal" not "All things being equal".
