Bros... How do you manage this? I'm overweight but planning to start gym on Monday. I also want to cut down on my food intake but I fear I may lose energy for gym.

Is there any strategy you're using cos me I'm always hungry. I need to shed weight seriously.

Any help on this pls?

i was 83kg after the lockdown and I’m 73 now.. I eat once.. eat well and take fruits in the evening before I go to bed.. but I only eat by 1pm everyday, stopped late night feeding and run 4-5kms every morning.. it has really helped me... if you can’t visit the gym, plank for 3-5 minutes everyday.. do it for 2 weeks straight and you’ll see changes..

To even use the "thing" sef no easy. By the time wey prep wingers give you less than 3 seconds to assume position, the "thing" fit shift as you dey hurry to plant

Water is the key sir...
1. Whenever you feel "hungry" drink water instead of eating...

2. Eat from a really small plate... And drink water afterwards.. You'll feel full..

3. Get a skipping rope, and keep beside your bed.. It's quite easy to get out of bed and skip, than getting out of bed to go for a run or the gym... Your burn same amount of calories by skipping... You could also add 3mins planks and sit ups..

4. set targets for yourself and reward your body with things you love when you meet those targets.. E.g decide to eat only fruits for two days straight and at the end of the third day, reward yourself with your favourite meal.. (In small amounts too)..

*disregard errors.. I no finish primary six.. grin

Shinfaks:
Candidates I will advise you to get in shape before reporting for training, but your weight has little significance on your chances of enlistment!

There is always a bunch of overweight candidates that report for training, they will fish them out as training unfolds, they are tagged "FAT ALBANS".

The military will use the hard way to get them in shape before commisioning (and please don't ask me how, be patient in few months time you will see for your self)
lol me I’ll tell them how the army will get them in shape... you’ll wear poncho!!! If you are fat, poncho is waiting for you in the academy..

Gentlemen just manage and get in... Medicals is ur major problem. BP screened out more than 80% of candidates wen it was just anxiety. Use wateva u can use. Nobody is testing for that. Open ur eyes for common errors that might b made by medical staff
