^Your posts get hidden and you get banned for derailing when you deliberately add diversionary content from the theme of a thread. It is dubious for you to start/join a thread on a particular topic and then tactfully turn it into a debate or tirade about the validity of "Sunni" hadith and beliefs.

Whatever you think about your beliefs and those of other Muslims does not give you the licence to turn every thread you participate in to a Shia versus Sunni debate on who is better.

Discussions and debates are meant for the topic of each thread not to propagate any particular "truth" you think you want to share.

I took independent action based on the fact that the thread is offensive. No one will be allowed to malign any of the Prophet's companions under any guise.

I think you are now becoming paranoid about every thread that discusses the history of any companion.there were good and bad companions.now for you to say it was offensive,you have to point out what is offensive.i think you are going a bit too far with this issue of "insulting the companion".there are even threads,many threads,on nairaland that question the prophethood,veracity,humanity,and character of the Prophet Muhammad (sa) himself.if those threads can be tolerated and muslims find time to respond and clear the doubt,why then do you find it needful deleting a thread about a companion? it makes no sense to me except you are trying to send the idea that you have something to hide and there is really nothing others from the opposite end can contribute to refute the claims or evidence put forth.by the way the companions were fallible men.they were not infallible to the extent that no one can open a thread here to question or doubt them.why then place them beyond criticism? I think it is time you review your action and try to rethink your approach on this matter.this matter on some infamous companions have been centuries old.it is not hiding or deleting a thread that would get it disappear.
