I think its because of the "Noisemakers" lifestyle of the Igbo's that made them obvious and not because they are really much like that.
Where I work here in Lagos, I once thought Igbo's are of same proportion to Yoruba's until I found out that actually, the number of Igbo's was just like 8 but they are the Noisiest, even Ahoada guys trounce them in population.
You know being the loudest does not make you the biggest, the best or the most, it just makes you one thing "The Noisiest".
