[center][/center]A TRUE LIFE STORY: A GAY SAVED!

During my National Youth Service Corps in Lagos State, Nigeria, I sat in my office at my place of work, a young teenage boy walked up to me, I welcomed him and we began to discuss.

As we were discussing, I chipped in HIV/AIDS and Sexuality issues. When we sank into the conversation, I noticed his rapt attention and moody countenance. After much talk, he confessed to be a gay. I felt pity for him and counseled him more deeply and he told me how it all started.

It all began when he was a little boy. One day when he was at school; either primary or junior secondary school that a fellow male colleague of his, in a lonely place pulled off his knickers and sexually molested him. Being a young boy he was ignorant of the consequences of what he did. As he grew up he could not control the desire. He became deep in the act that both old and young “slept” with him and that they told him to be their “wife”. He was also involved in pornography.

Being a Christian, and knowing fully well that his case was beyond counseling, I prayed with him and led him to Jesus Christ. He gave his life to God and promised never to indulge himself in same sex relationship again. Ever since, he shares his testimonies of victories over sexual immoralities including advances from gay in his community.

I thank God the saviour of man from sin and HIV/AIDS, for helping me to be a change agent and to fulfill purpose, may His name be praise, amen.

God can rescue you as he did for the teenager in this write up. He said “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” Matthew12: 28. Give your life to Jesus Christ and He will change you.

Pray to Him now: Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you because you came to die for me. I acknowledge that I can’t help and save myself. I surrender my life to you. Be my Lord and savoiur forever more (amen). You can pray as God leads you.
