I know this may sound like a silly question as most of you here are Nigerian, but does anyone know the legal age to get married in Lagos?

am not in lagos but the truth is onces your mind is matured and ready for marriage i dont think any law can stop a matured mind and thats the truth.

I don't know how it works in Lagos but if your not of the legal age here in the UK (18) you can't get married. No church or registry office will marry you, regardless of your mind set.

In the UK you can get married at 16 if you have your parents permission.

If it's a guy, then age shouldn't be a factor co's he has to put necessary things in order before talking about marriage.

But if it's a girl, I think 22-28 should be leagal enough for her to get married.
