I think our Federal Government should take it easy on Ghana, though Ghanaians can be annoying but I think we should pity them. 2 Likes |

This is a good thing. Tit for tat. I was wondering when Ghanaians would wake up and smell the coffee. Nigerians have it easy when it comes to exporting goods to Ghana while Ghanaians are banned from exporting the same things Nigerians can easily export to Ghana. The things that they are able to export to Naija you have to follow a very long process with so many protocols and certificates etc. So now the best way will be this way. 2 Likes |

cuteboy2: Nigeria accounts for almost 10 per cent of Ghana’s foreign trade volume, whereas Ghana is listed as the 9th largest trade partner to Nigeria. Ghana remains Nigeria’s largest trade partner and favourite investment hub in the West Africa sub-region, as Ghana imports the largest share of all Nigerian oil exports in the West African sub-region. While ‘bagged cement’ is on Nigeria’s prohibition list, Dangote Cement brings in and bags some 750,000 tonnes of cement a year for the Ghanaian market, and is expected to increase this to 1.5 million tonnes by end of this quarter. Let them ban all Ghana products and Ghana can do the same, Nigeria has more to lose than Ghana since Nigeria only accounts for almost 10percent of foreign trade volumes in Ghana. We can find other diplomatic countries to trade with. 2 Likes 1 Share |

cuteboy2:you speak with a high level of ignorance. It's like you don't understand what is going on. Alomo just built a $70m processing plant in ghana. The truth is that the plant was actually meant to be cited in Nigeria. Which would help employ people and boost revenues, but the big guns. The likes of guniness, Nigerian breweries and Co have see how lucrative the herbal market is, so they frustrated alomos efforts in Nigeria instead of bringing up healthy competition. OXYGEN01:bless you bro. The Nigerian media is at it again with their lies and concoctions about Ghana. I read the news some days ago and followed up the report Atm it's an opinion by the association of Ghana industries that Ghana must come up with its own ‘prohibition list’ and refuse certain goods entry because Nigeria has not been following the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme agreement and is playing smart, but Ghana has not technically banned Nigerian products as the op is trying to insinuate. the Trade and Industry Minister Mr. Ekwow Spio- Garba never made the statement that that Ghana and Nigeria are said to account for some 68 per cent of the ECOWAS region’s Gross Domestic Product. It was just a fact put up by the reporter. This peeps are fond of twisting and concocting stories 1 Like |

V0lv0:bless u dear. We have been too lenient and taken as fools. When Nigerians are allowed to bring their products into a country the consider it as African brothers working hand in hand to support each other, but when it's the other way round, they get agitated that common Ghana etc . we have all what it takes to develop ourselves. So we work with nations willing to work 2 Likes |
