Clearly, the Scriptures has laid the foundation as to how the man and woman should relate to each other. Anything short of that will be an act of disobedience, of which one must be ready to pay the price. God has set the boundaries for all the creations He had made; both humans, animals and the angels regardless of your beliefs or faith. I can be the most handsome, learned and successful guy on earth but if l fail to 'love and respect' the opposite sex, l have disobeyed His commandments. The same applies to a woman regardless of how successful, beautiful or intelligent she might be. If she fails to 'submit', she has disobeyed as well. We all must be ready to pay the price for our decisions or actions in the long run, provided we fail to co-exist peacefully in marriage by obeying God's commandments.

It is apparent that the enemy had been successful in using human laws (so called politically correct syndrome amongst others) to counter the laws and precepts in the Bible in most developed nations. This is why there's so much distrust and bitterness between 'man and woman', and l am afraid the trend has already started in my home country (Nigeria).
