Gusto when he delivered the message of to me.

Struggling for years in the underworld has made me understand the deception etched in it NO TRUST in the underworld
Though not a major player i have been lucky to make my fortune in shady businesses though most of my friends are now dead but am thanking my stars that am lucky to have my life and body in one piece and since i made my fortune ten years ago i gave up the shady business started living a happy with my family but how long will this last ? i don't know

CHAPTER 1
LAGOS NIGERIA
10 JANUARY 2010

"Dad when are you coming back home ? " Stella asked her dad Mr Owen grayson who was going to yet another business trip , his wife Kimberly is at the door with a visible angry look
' Owen can't you just postpone this trip it is barely a month you arrived from China ' she said almost screaming
' oh Kim i promise i will make it up with you guys , its just two days baby ' Owen said while hugging his beautiful wife
'and you going to take us on a ride when you come back ' his 15 years old boy , Ian said disrupting the romantic session , 'yea that's true we will all go on a ride i promise ' Owen agreed .
Picking his suitcase he got into his Toyota camry 2010 model and drove out of his big house with a lot of thoughts on his mind . While driving from lekki to the airport Owen thought of a lot from his ever blossoming business to his beautiful wife and family and also thinking of Jane , Ian's biological mother and her painful death ,also on his mind he thought of how he lashed with a horse whip Ian two years ago when he gave Stella , his sister a c-shaped scar on her right arm , just then he remembered his issue with gusto and made a mental note to rectify the issue when he gets back ' i can't afford to die now' he muttered to himself

'Target approaching his jet ' Eric spoke into the tiny device connecting him and the others
'take him out now' another man said . With this Eric put took a shot with a GPMG Mounted on a tripod at the unsuspecting Owen making his worst dream come true.

The news of Owen's death was a big shock to his family ,after his burial organized by his wife and friend since he has no existing family members , his will was read and after all , preparations are made by Kim to take to Ian and Stella back to the states (where she came from) .

TWO WEEKS LATER

' We are getting late for the flight ' Kim said to hasten her children who were still eating
'Mum aren't we even entitled to say goodbye to our friends ' Stella said 'especially uchenna ' she quickly added
' No, i don't want anybody to know we are going back to US only uncle Ade knows but don't worry your cousin max and my sister will help you make new friends ok ?' Kim replied hastily

"you must be kidding , i mean going to Nigeria now dangerous " Oscar said to Sainte
"spare me those sermon man , i've waited 5 years for this
oppurtunity " Sainte replied his friend
"but a state of emergency will soon be declared in Lagos , it is dangerous to go now " Oscar added
"this time am not backing out , where is the file i asked you for "Sainte said trying to change th subject
"here , have it " Oscar said giving him a file from the table . Scanning through the file a smile lit up on Sainte's face at the detailed info on his targets
"i know you are good at this guy " Sainte said giving Oscar a thumbs up .
"just be careful don't die on me and make that mission snappy and come back home in one piece" Oscar said with a disappointed look
"don't worry and pls pick my car up at the airport tomorrow ok ?" Sainte said as he made for the door
"ok" was all Oscar said as he bade Sainte goodbye

TWO DAYS LATER
LAGOS NIGERIA

Driving through the busy road of lagos wasn't as tedious as he thought compared to ten years earlier when he lived there but he was damned sure his mission in Lagos wouldn't be an easy one

Parking his black Honda HRV 2019 model he got out the car as he journeyed towards a house , high fenced and has security cameras

"a man is in the lobby waiting for you sir " a man said to senator Obioma who was in his library
"usher him in " the senator replied
Getting in the highly furnished marble floored library Sainte made his way to where the senator was sitting . After sitting down the senator asked of how he could help him
"well senator am here to kill you " he replied . The senator's face lit up with flushed anger
"who the hell are you to make death threats at me ? " the senator said
"well " sainte said as he got up "am sainte " he added
"sainte ? Sainte ! " the senator exclaimed as the realization hit him one of the most efficient assassin known was with him in the library
"GUARDS !!!!" the senator screamed which made sainte laugh
"don't scream man have you forgotten you made this place sound proof ? " sainte said as he brought his Glock 19 gun out . Standing up sainte released a silenced gunshot which piercing the heart of the senator and made his way to the door to take the secret exit that the senator thought only him knew about

Agent Luke got inside the meeting room where he was to hold a meeting with the special force agents
"sorry for being late " Luke said as he sat down beginning the meeting "as you all know the situation of lagos state is now in a code red order , the federal government as once again request ed help from USA and to rob more salt to our wound they are bringing another CIA agent " Luke said
"another CIA agent ? Uchenna the leader of the special force team said "that ridiculous "
"yes really derogatory but we have no choice either since it is an order from the top......... And also the agent would be joining us in two days " Luke said . The meeting lasted for some minutes where other things were discussed

MAX'S POV
I arrived in Nigeria and was welcomed by the heat , mom once told me we used have relatives in Nigeria but all died in a plane crash when they visited America , well i wonder how i will survive Damn it why did i even volunteer for this mission but wait Henry told me Nigerian ladies are sweet, no no no i shouldn't have those dirty thoughts cos was going to solve terrorism in Nigeria not to sample her ladies . I was escorted by men of the operatives carrying uzis and smgs . The journey to the NATA headquarters was uneventful but knew he gravity of work am to do when i was received by agent Luke and i met this beautiful lady introduced as Uchenna a level 6 clearance special agent whom am to work with . Getting to the supposed house am to be using i slumped on the bed and i slept off almost immediately .

FEBRUARY 13
"Another explosion rocks Lagos making it the 3rd bomblast in just two weeks" the headlines of the news drawing uchenna's attention from the kitchen and her phone rang almost immediately "hello sir...., yes sir...., just 10 minutes sir..., i will join you there sir " was all she said before muttering an 'oooooh' and went back to the kitchen

Getting to the crime scene uchenna was met with another but yet a gory scene with an arcane smell of burning flesh , but she was surprised to see Max who who was clad in a black suit , and she was immediately called by Luke and she too started working earnestly
MEANWHILE ACROSS THE CRIME SCENE ON THE TOP OF AN HIGHRISE BUILDING

"The man just arrived " Fred said to a young fair lady . The lady who was busy fixing a 7.62 x 51mm belt fed GMPG mounted on a tripod and fitted with an optical sight .
" i know" she said while taking a neat and accurate shot at her unsuspecting victim.

NATA HEADQUARTERS LAGOS


"Can't just believe it and you were there ! You couldn't prevent his death , yet you didn't catch the culprit , or was the culprit a spirit ? Enh? Look man , i give you just 1 week to fish out the culprit or you submit your resignation letter ! Ok ? " the chief director screamed at Agent Luke through the phone.

He too was still shocked , the minister of defence was shot dead at the bomb blast scene , the federal government had also declared a state of emergency in the in Lagos and yet he wasn't even close to catching the culprits

"sir , the sniper isn't the same person who planted the bomb , take a look at this sir " Max said immediately he got into Luke's office.
reading through the file , Luke asked Max "so you are proposing the sniper isn't a man ? "

"definitely sir it is the handiwork of a lady , judging from the angle the bullet pierced the minister's head and she is even a professional killer " max added brilliantly .

this young man is good Luke muttered

"sir we have been able to establish that the bomb attack was another attack from Anonymous " Uchenna said as she also entered luke's office

"so we are not after a sect only , we are also after a professional assassin " said Luke with a serious look "well guys go and refresh we are going out soon and uchenna kindly tell the x squad that we will be needing ten men for the operation and also tell them i will be leading this myself " Luke said
After dismissing the agents Luke called his wife and told her he wouldn't be able to come home that weekend

"They are on their way" jack told hakeem who was in a living room "and the guys are ready they are only waiting for your order" he quickly added
GEtting out hakeem spoke to his men urging them to make the mission a success
"and remember you must kill Luke" he said

"NATA X5Y , we've gat company reinforcement needed urgently we are outnumbered "Agent Karim said loudly to the receiver
"copy that " a voice replied him
After 5 minutes that seemed like eternity , reinforcements arrived sending the sect members scrambling away but 1 member was caught and NATA also lost two men in the seven but intense gunfire with the sect members

MAX's POV
That was close , really close how did they even know we were on our way there ? that's the work of a spy ; yes a spy, which is to be exposed.

Definitely ur story is a work of fiction but it is good to do some research on anything you intend to use in your write up.....like cars, guns, buildings etc. GPMG stands for General Purpose Machine Gun. So it is kind of far fetched carrying it around in an airport, how much more killing someone that is about to board an aircraft. Anyway more grease to your elbow bro.....i hope you finish this story cos it gonna be interesting.

SAINTE'S POV
Lagos is in a big mess , as in this wasn't the lagos i lived ten years ago ; troubled by ANONYMOUS , the state doesn't only suffer numerous attack from armed robbers , it is also the main drug distributing area in Nigeria and also there are assassins like myself specialized in killing .
Am hitting another person tonight , and would strike with no mercy .
After father was killed , we moved to the states to move on with our lives but that was ephemeral , we were involved in a plane crash that caused the death of my half sister and her mother . All this wouldn't have happened if my dad wasn't killed and am back to hit them ;pay them back in their own coin . I plugged my headset into the laptop filling my ears with a song titled payback by juicy j and co .
Someone knocked the door after 10 minutes, i quickly grabbed a semi auto Glock 20 and i went to the door to open but i was shocked to see the person at the door.

" His name is Maxwell , a CIA agent in the intelligence section , aged 26 . He is good in Judo , karate and kungfu . He can also fly a jet and has little knowledge in hacking . He is currently in Lagos working with NATA to tackle us and he is highly dangerous " concluded Jason at an emergency meeting of ANONYMOUS in portonovo
"What about the lady, who is she ? " the governess said
" Uchenna Itodo , aged 23 , studied criminology at UniLag . Has great knowledge in karate and kungfu , also called sharp shooter and she is currently working with NATA at the intelligence section she is also highly dangerous " Jason said
The meeting continued for about an hour where many other issues were discussed .
" the last mission failed ma " hakeem said to the governess who seem not to be listening
after about 2 minutes she spoke
"tell solstice that i have decided to give him one more chance to redeem himself . I want the obituary of Agent Luke to be announced tomorrow and also tell him he will die if he fails the mission and it is a man job this time around " the governess said as she walked out of the meeting room signifying the end of the meeting.

MAX'S POV
Today is valentine's day , if it was to be the states i would be hanging out with one of my numerous girlfriends but down here in Nigeria am already working my ass off at the NATA headquarters .
Someone turned off the cameras yesterday so we couldn't get the spy through the cameras but am sure the person will fall for the trap i had prepared for him. Which trap ?

I got to the office today to meet a flower dropped at the entrance of my office , From Max . What is even wrong with this guy , does he think he is special because he came from the states ? Mtcheew trash but wait today is valentine's day , no wonder but it won't repeat itself never; a sad occurrence that almost ruined me last 4 years.

"he will soon join us cos he left Abuja about 13 and half hours ago pls be patient" the man said "oh that's him coming out from the airport "the man quickly added
Gusto smiled as one of his numerous drug traffickers bypassed the Thai drug enforcement securities again despite measures taken by its government to curb drug trafficking into the country
"This is it " man said handling over a bag containing drugs to Gusto "and where is it ? " the man asked Gusto
" Oh the package " Gusto said as he brought out his Sig Sauer P230 and shot the man twice on his chest
"that's it " he said to the other man smiling as they both got away in a white lexus.

SAINTE'S POV
I opened the door and to my surprise I met Oscar with two young gentlemen
" what are you doing here ?" i asked immediately i saw him and as usual a chose to neglect the Question and forced his way into the room instead and the two guys who later introduced themselves as Ben and Cole respectively followed suit
he later answered my question that he was here to help me and also the boys he also explained how he was able to locate me through the tracker he put on the file he gave me that day . We also discussed other things and we later moved to the house that i had rented (a 4 bedroom flat) online . Cooking was fun also as i prepared for tonight's mission

" Gusto shot Alfred dead, took the drug and also sent a message that he would kill anyone who wants to take the package from him hen?" Eric asked a gangster sitting next to him
" yes sir " the gangster replied
"damn it ! After all I've done for Gusto he still chose to treat me this way " Eric side

" screech gboa" a car bumps into the warehouse , gunshots follows
" fvck " Eric groaned as a bullet tore through his right arm while another narrowly missed his head killing the guy at his back almost immediately .
after 7 minutes of gunfire Eric ran out of ammo and fell down as he was approached by two young people

"your worst nightmare " a tall light guy with an afro haircut carrying a SIG P556 Swat gun answered .
" where is the package ? " a fair lady with braided hair , clad in a black outfit carrying the same gun as the guy asked
" the package ? I don't know about any package " Eric said sarcastically .
"the package that my dad refused to deliver , the one that caused his untimely death " the lady said with a rising tone
" the package isn't with me " Eric replied
" light , i told you this guy is nothing but a gangster " the guy said
" Fred this guy isn't what you think he is , he works for Gusto who am sure killed my father and am gonna use his death to send a message to him " the lady said
" wha..what ? Who exactly are you ? " Eric asked with fear in his eyes
" well , tell Owen Grayson that his daughter is back to avenge his death once you see him in heaven okay " the lady said releasing two bullets thus shattering Eric's head

Sainte got to the clubhouse which his target was throwing a valentine's bash . He got into the dimly lit clubhouse and went inside the VIP Lounge and sat down opposite his target , a middle aged man who specializes in smuggling illegal goods into the country .
" start the show" Sainte said trough the device to Oscar who was sitting at the other end of the loung
" copy that " Oscar replied jokingly
Oscar stood from where he sat and went to where to where their target was seated
In a flash the peaceful atmosphere was replaced by a chaotic one as Oscar picked up a fight with one of the bodyguard of the man
in the midst of the confusion , Sainte brought out a semi auto Glock 20 and finished off his target .
