It baffles me to read how Saharareporters have made even the enlightened ones to become illiterate. What section of Nigerian constitution says if
1. the President travel on official duty, the VP automatically takes over?
2. the President and the VP travel on official duty, the Senate President automatically takes over?
What the law says is when
1. the president travels on vacation and he officially write to the Senate for approval, then VP takes over or when both go on vacation and officially write to the Senate. Not when both are on official duties or when
2. the President or VP or both are incapacitated and unable to perform his/their responsibilities as prescribed by law, then the doctrine of necessity is invoked and the Senate President is sworn-in, not when both are on official duties.
There's no known law of the land that says if both are on official duties then Senate President will take over. The President and VP can even be ruling far away from home, the law does not prescribed where they must reside to rule per time. The only danger in them ruling out of land, is coup which can only be instigated by the Army not even the Senate because they need to serve him impeachment notice before any impeachment and he must undergo fair hearing, anything short of that is null and void.
Saharareporters will just wake up and sold dummy to the gullibles and they will just take it hook, line and sinker. I think SA is going too far to put Saraki down, even if he's guilty, not turning the constitution upside down to get at him.

Even if hotels booked, when cancelled, the money can be refunded. If not some other delegates could utilise the facility, so that the money isn't wasted.
