In USA you need a degree to be admitted to Medicine, so it's between 9 and 10 years.

It doesn't matter how long they stay in school. The main issue is: Does Nigeria have the facilities, technical-know-hows, specialists to train the doctors? It is a pipe dream. More like putting a cart before a horse. Take a look at any of the Teaching hospitals and tell us if there could be
any expected positive outcome from training the residents there for a million years.

Our students are in other countries living well instead of stressing their lives out in Nigeria. Who can blame them?

As for me? A diploma in economics, Bsc in statistics, msc in the streets, hoping to get a PHD in the streets too.


After the 11yrs, it is not even guaranteed that s/he will get a good job, I know of medical doctors that struggle to maintain a nuclear family. And I go come waste 14yrs +.

1 out of 100 graduates get civil employment per annum, I just can't wait to see if I will be that 1.





We have to survive on our own, Govt is a scam.

NUC should just make available facilities for medical students and stop this unnecessary time and man power wastage
