Ibrahim made this known when he granted interview to Daily Trust newspaper on Sunday.
Ibrahim speaking to Daily Trust reporter say he wishes to see Bello come back to second term.
He also said he wants Bello to be a good governor so that Ibira people will be proud of him.
The traditional ruler when asked to give his assessment of the Governor, say he cannot say anything beyond what people are saying about the governor and what he reads from newspapers.
Mr. Ibrahim say he read and heard people say the governor has not paid salaries, but said he is not the only governor owing salaries in Nigeria.
The traditional ruler disclosed that Bello relationship with his kinsmen, Ibira people is not cordial because he has surrounded himself with Igala people who are leading him in government.
Ibrahim said, it is Igala people who will decide whether Bello will come back to government house as the state Governor or not.
The Ibira chief say Bello does not take advice from anybody including the traditional rulers, but from those who sing his praises.

Eseries: Hello Nairalanders!
I am just another young Nigerian who resides in Lagos still struggling, hustling and chasing my dreams.
Unfortunately, I have a selfish Landlord. He asks for money all the time, I cooperated last year and each time he does ask, I find something for him. This year I want to be much more prudent with my expenses and I only want to pay for my rent when it is due because if I continue the same way, I might end up paying 5 years upfront and that means I am working just to satisfy my rather selfish Landlord.
Here comes the hurdle, my rent will be due by December. My Landlord just served me a quit notice to vacate my apartment by January next year, only a month after my rent must have expired.
I pay my rent annually and will like to know what my rights are in a situation like this. I know and accept that I will definitely vacate his property but how long more does the law permit me to stay and make arrangement for the next place to move in.
Once again the quit notice was served to me today to vacate by January, 2019. My rent is still active and expires December 30, 2018.
I am counting on lawyers in the house and experienced Nairalanders to put me through on my next move. I think I should be entitled to 6 months stay after the expiration of my rent by law to make arrangement to move i.e June 2019. Am I right? can someone just throw me out of his property by January when my rent expires by December?
I am not sure the rightful section to put this thread, the mod please do the needful so this gets enough exposure so people can contribute, I just want to get the right information so no one can mess with my rights. Thank You! if your tenancy is yearly is six months, if is half year is three months. but if you are paying anyhow he can give you at your expiration. |

Politics › Re: Rivers APC Reacts To Supreme Court Judgment, Calls It Mere Academic Exercise by 2bitrus: 2:20am On Oct 23, 2018 |
Upritman: @SuanusBlog
The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has reacted to today's judgment by the Supreme on the crises rocking the state chapter of the party in a matter brought before the apex court involving 23 aggrieved members of the party who alleged that they were unduly excluded from the party congresses.
In a swift reaction by the State Spokesperson of the APC in Rivers State, Chris Finebone, the Supreme Court Judgment was described as a mere academic exercise.
Finebone insisted that the Supreme Court did not set aside the congresses and primaries of the party.
The full statement obtained by Suanu's Blog reads below:
The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, would like to state, for the avoidance of doubt, that the appeal filed at the Supreme Court by Ibrahim Umar & 22 ors of which the ruling was given today, 3 issues were canvassed before the Supreme Court one of which was that the Appeal Court did not act correctly by granting a stay of execution on the interlocutory orders of the State High Court. The Supreme Court agreed with them. However, the Supreme Court did not make pronouncements on the other issues since the State High Court had already given final judgment on them, an action that has left the present development a mere academic exercise.
The Supreme Court only granted the appeal in parts and did not make any consequential orders as that can only be subject matter at the Appeal Court when the appeal hearing of the State High Court judgment commences.
According to Counsel to APC, "The Supreme Court today allowed the appellant appeal which was against the stay of Order of Injunction of 11/05/2018.The Court said the said order should not have been stayed. The Supreme Court made no orders except to set aside the Court of Appeal order. That clears the way for hearing of the main appeal at Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt against the judgment of the High Court. Their prayer that Supreme Court should hear the pending appeal at Court of Appeal was rejected .The appeal is to be heard and determined by Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt."
It is important for APC faithful to ignore the raging propaganda by detractors that the Supreme Court set aside congresses and primaries of the party in Rivers State. That is a big lie from the pit of hell.
As things stand, all pending appeals at the Appeal Court are proceeding apace with some ongoing today. Furthermore, appeal and stay of the final judgment of the State High Court given on the 10th of October are being perfected and hearing will commence thereafter.
We call on all APC members to remain steadfast and refuse to be distracted as ultimate victory is assured. Those claiming victory and dancing in the streets are doing so either out of ignorance or out to deceive others".
Meanwhile, members of the Senator Magnus Abe led faction of the APC has been thrown celebration over the news of the Supreme Court Judgment which they interpret to be in their best interest. Many of the supporters Abe, who is a frontline governorship aspirant tropped out to his campaign office in Portharcout this afternoon to celebrate the judgment with him. in the school of APC

Politics › Re: FG Proposes N8.6trn Budget For 2019 by 2bitrus: 8:09pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
ManirBK: The federal government yesterday indicated that it was targeting a tighter fiscal plan next year, with a projected budget of N8.65 trillion in 2019. This was disclosed the minister of budget and national planning, Udo Udoma, during a public consultation on the 2019-2021 Medium Term Fiscal Framework and Strategy in Abuja. The federal government explained that it would cut the budget from N9.12 trillion in 2018 to N8.65 trillion in 2019. This, it said, is predicated on the need to ensure prudence, reduce deficit and borrowing while laying greater emphasis on revenue drive. The federal government also said it wanted to reduce the amount of borrowing to finance the nation’s budget deficit in the proposed 2019 fiscal year. According to the government’s 2019-2021 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), the government will cut deficit in the 2019 budget draft from N1.9 trillion in 2018 to N1.6 trillion in 2019. LEADERSHIP Friday reports that there had been calls on the federal government to reduce its borrowing and pay more attention to internal revenue generation from the non-oil sector. While approving the federal government’s borrowing request on Wednesday, the Nigerian Senate re-emphasised the earlier call by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to either halt or slow down its debt accumulation.
