It wasn't an empty threat. My sister has been in a similar situation, and believe me, the longer you remain in contact with him, the worse the situation will become. My sis ignored all the advice and ended up in hospital.

Nwoke has given the best advice that you will hear - you need to leave this guy, the sooner the better.
