Culture › Re: Eze Ndigbo Of Ghana, Ihenetu Hosted Ooni Of Ife (Throwback Photos) by 2mch(m): 3:17pm On Jul 31, 2025
ALISMILE:
I believe the Yoruba people seriously need to caution the Ooni of Ife.

He’s steadily diminishing the dignity of what is considered the most prestigious royal stool among the Yoruba. His constant presence at parties and social events is undermining the reverence traditionally accorded to his position.

Can you imagine the Oba of Benin sitting beside that man in Ghana? That would never happen.

This behavior from the Ooni is truly disappointing.
He’s a political Ooni, who obviously had no royal training. He’s an embarrassment to that throne. Any chief can pay and call for his presence and he will show up. This is so shameful, I can’t believe he will stoop this low. He has completely denigrated and reduced the allure of the throne he occupies. What a huge shame.

I may be wrong in citing Ogun state.
My point is that it is not all states in South West that calls it that.
Those names should not be seen as insult but circumstantial.
Thanks.
Yes we all used to call it Agbari Ojuku in the West. That’s its name. I even called it same yesterday and I am from Lagos.

When na Governor de select Oba now, why will Oba think they deserve respect. When they are now like Governor employees. If Traditional leaders and domains want to retain their respect, they need to demand laws that keep Governors out of their selection process. We are all now aware of this fact so the respect is reducing. Along with the fact the traditional leaders now say they are Muslim or Christian. The hypocrisy is obvious and makes them lose respect.

They say that to describe Lagos as no man's land is sacrilege

I don't think they realise that if there was anything like 'one Nigeria', all of Nigeria would be no man's land for all Nigeria because Nigeria is owned by all Nigerians

One Nigeria is the biggest fraud to come out of West Africa
When they don’t let you insult them or have your way at their expense, one Nigeria is a fraud. The way you people behave like say you no get origin or your origin is a den of dragons. So you want to claim you don’t know Nigeria has several regions for a very obvious reason? All the gaslighting and manipulation period has ended. Agenda is no longer agending. No one will let you turn their villages to dragon den. We no get anywhere else to run to like you, professional runners. Spoil a place and run away then start crying when people control you. If you don’t want to be controlled, your region is there to do anyhow.

Look at these two portraits.
How does this child look like me?
He is two months old here and I just took the picture some few minutes ago where I was collecting fresh air at one shade.
He looks exactly like you. Kids color is more predictable when they reach 2yrs. Most are lighter when they are born. It’s not by skin color. You both have the same eyes, mouth and nose.

If Amotekun were hot on their trails as you claim, the kidnappers wouldn't be that bold and confident enough to demand such ridiculous amount for ransom, your brother is the president with all the key security positions manned by Yorubas yet there are herdsmen and bandit attacks still happening in the SW, especially in that Akure North axis.
The kidnappers demand such because they know SW is prosperous. SE they are kidnapping and killing people over dried fish. Those kidnappers are definitely not Yoruba, you and I know this. But in the SE, we both definitely know it is Igbos making their region so uninhabitable.

Amotekun has engaged those kidnappers and are hot on their trail. But in SE it’s Igbo on Igbo crime and this young life was cut short for dried fish!. We know those behind the kidnapping in SW is 90% not SWners.

Your people are the ones sponsoring hooligans and violent urchins in the south-east,. You tactfully recruit them to go around killing, maiming, destroying things for fun just to blame IPOB and ESN. The ultimate aim is to discredit the Biafran agitations in the east, by tying the movement to lawlessness and brigandage. You guys supervised the jailbreaks these recent years in the east that have emptied the prisons of all their human quantities. All those criminals are the ones kidnapping and committing murder just to tarnish the image of a region.
Hahahaha. Na now I am convinced that you are something is wrong only Yaba left can cure. You mean the brutal murder of a prominent son of Igboland on the street of Alaigbo was done by Yorubas? Even the kidnapping that is 99% Igbo to Igbo is sponsored by Yoruba. Who are not more than 3,000 in the whole SE? Incredible. Yet we leave Easterners who are in their millions in SW to thrive. We go all the way to SE to kidnap and kpai Easterners. When there are enough in the SW if we want? Only una do Kidnapping, baby factory and other ills of God as business. Yet wonder why your evil forest of a region can not thrive? Instead of taking accountability, you blame Yoruba who are far away and don’t even share border with SE?

Very hardworking guy.
Always advertising online with the cheapest prices.
His "assassination" should be thoroughly investigated.
He was starting to dominate a reasonable share of the fish market in this country. I wouldn't be surprised if folks who felt he was running them out of the market are involved in this dastardlyact..
The police should spread their dragnet across the country, especially towards the South West. Folks over there see job/business/political competitions as a matter of life.and death..
What concerns SW with other people’s success? That’s East and what they do to their own people. He lost his life in the SW? The East is hot with kidnapping and killing of even prominent people on the street like they are less than human. Is SW people that did that one too? What about Dora Akunyili’s husband? Una don sell una shame or God forget to give una.

Amotekun is already battling them. Guaranteed they are not Yoruba. But the ones in the East are 100% Igbos kidnapping Igbos.

Our politicians are criminals and most Nigerians are criminals also.

Maybe we should start behaving ourselves whenever we leave the shore of Nigeria. the only good people this will affect are innocent Nigerians that are living peacefully.
Maybe you and your family members are the ones you are talking about. Certainly not most Nigerians.

At the end of the day, the people who thought they will be the sole beneficiaries will be crying about this bill and accusing Fulani and Yoruba of taking all their lands. They will lose in all areas, both at home and away because, as usual they will be outsmarted. Seems Easterners have not learned from the Unification disaster.

Hmmmm cousins.
Be like you sabi pass Itshekiri people. Their names and the language they speak is very Yoruboid. They even call their queens same as Yoruba royalty. Igala is also understood by Yoruba people to about 60%. That’s for the Igala that live in Kogi and have been far removed from Yoruba influence. The Igala word is even Yoruba. I pity you all. You don’t know that Yoruba is a very ancient tribe and birthed a lot of these minority tribes. When it is time to divide is when you will truly understand how deep those roots are.

Nigeria is a different case scenario to what you're describing. Nigerians aren't a different people that emigrated from another continent into Nigeria. Your arguments & comparison don't actually make sense to be frank
Nigeria is not different. Before the formation of Nigeria, all groups came together to agree. Which is why the regional system of Government was formed. No where government exists in the world that the rights of the indegenes are not respected. Nigeria is a country made up of different nations and empires coming together to form a country. You cannot wake up one day and invalidate that. Except you don’t have value for your life. It will never work, not now. Not ever. Nigeria is even worse than the US in this regard. We are very very very different culturally and historically.

Also you compared Birth right which grants citizenship and not Indegeneship to this bill. I am not sure you even know what being an indegene means. Plus how it is protected in America you quoted. You better comment at your level of understanding.

xeju:
But the USA should continue to give birthright citizenship to babies who are born there to exploit the system's loophole. Una hypocrisy is out of this world
Birth right and Citizenship is the same. Can anybody drag native lands with American Indians? Not even White people. Till date, Native Indians have free education to any level and priority for government jobs with their own lands the US government can never touch. Those are the indegenes of US. Nigeria does not even have such laws in place, if we are to treat indegens the way America does, SE will have a complete breakdown. Indegene rights are respected all over the world if you are not a troublemaker.
Politics › Re: Honourable James Faleke Disassociates Himself From Indigenous Bill by 2mch(m): 12:22am On Jul 30, 2025
The most ridiculous and embarassing bill ever presented in the whole Nigeria. A big shame and stain on Benjamin Kalu. It’s not every money you accept, it’s not every agenda you agend without thinking of your political future. If people are pushing you to do things that may destroy opportunities for you in future, you have to be wise enough to commot yourself. They want you to use your name, not their own. So they can keep living in luxury while you struggle after presenting such bill.

A good name is worth more than Silver and Gold. See your co-sponsors running for their life. Faleke, I don’t believe this your denial. You should have denied being a co-sponsor as soon as the bill was presented. You waited until it failed and you abandon ship. We need to keep our eyes on James Faleke. He seems to be likely to sell out for the right price.

30yrs is a long time. Why did they wait till now. Many accidents happen on the road and if the corpses are not claimed within a certain time the government will bury them. Either she got into an accident or she went to meet someone else and not her mother. She could have simply run away too.
