MEND and co are not different from Robin Hood, Osama Bin Paden and other politically clever criminals.
The last true Niger Delta agitator that I am aware of is Ken Saro Wiwa. He was nonviolent; a civilian.

Of course he was civilian and civil in his agitation and approach which eventually cause him to be annihilated in no time.  And MEnD, conscious of this arent threading the same way he did.  But unfortunately the Nigerian state seem to hid more to anything that has some little forced in it.  So suit them.

But don't get me wrong; am not supporting anything violence in any form and i think the plight of this people should be looked into, _{for crying out loud.}

The fight for resource control was judiciously fought for by MEND and co., not untill bunch of criminals now hijacked it to steal. Atleast just to get rid of the criminal elements in the state.
