I really don't understand the collaboration and level of intelligence the US have with Nigeria on fighting this terrorists. Was it just for US to drop bombs and disperse them knowing fully well they would spread into neighbouring areas becoming more brutal in the process. Shouldn't there be a troop on ground to roundup those fleeing from the bombings?

This is exactly what I was expecting the Tinubu government to do since Trump's statement. Ban open grazing, restrict movement of motorcycles at certain period in the North, create a dedicated line (just like 911) where citizens can call-in and report any creepy movement/activities. Atleast to show that he is being proactive.

How many weeks now since Trump made that declaration of Nigeria as country of particular concern, so far no tangible actions or blueprint by the government on how to tackle the insecurity. Atleast to show that they are proactive but rather they are busy running around trying to meet Trump and possibly talk him out or maybe bribe him, which is what they know how to do best.

Its really sad that we in this part of the world see governance as a business. Its really bad!
