Bros/sis, I know and I've heard the konji smitten nonsense a man spews out just for access to the thighs of a woman when that fire below his belly flares up.
The reality on ground here is that this lecturer didn't go as far as dishing out threats just to have sex with the student. He may have used coercion but I strongly doubt his use of brute force. The lady in question may have played along with her eyes fixed on the man's money or a marriage but when the odds came against her, she went nuts.
If it was rape or anything close to that, why didn't she make a report immediately after the incident but rather waited till she became pregnant..
What we've read so far is only a one sided account from the student and probably on the ill advice of a cheap charge and bail lawyer.

And it's the north that have been performing poorly the cap fits?

Logical but not entirely correct!
However advice sometimes is susceptible to wisdom, critical thinking and knowledge of a subject matter.
I've seen some way younger persons advice me on some certain investment deals though they don't control or have any related investment or venture to what they correctly advised me on that turned out positive and effective.

I blame the Oni for this issue, at least when going for such meeting. Which not only concern your state.
