In the aftermath of the Bloody and Violent Rivers Re Run election, an even bigger problem has surfaced as it was reported this morning that Minister of Transport and erstwhile Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, was abducted from his Hotel Room in Port Harcourt by heavily armed men disguised as Men of the Nigerian Army. While reports are still sketchy as at press time, the news is threatening to turn Rivers State into a full blown battle ground, as the APC are laying the blame squarely at the feet of the PDP and Gov. Nyesom Wike. The Presidency and Police Force are working frantically to secure his release without harm. His whereabouts are currently unknown, and as at Press Time, his abductors have not made any declarations or asked for any ransome.
