are you sure the CD you're using is bootable? did u buy it or burn it yourself?does it show you the 'press any key to boot from CD?'

download this software and run it http://www.zhangduo.com/udi.html, it's called unknown device identifier, it should tell you the name of your sound card and give you the option of searching for it's drivers. . .

once again, formatting your computer should be the last option. . .

bros go and download vlc player from videolan.org and stop disturbin urself from all his dvd activation code wahala. vlc will play any dvd in the world and most formats of video and audio in existence, with super quality output too. its free to download and need no activation.
besides how can u be asking for dvd player activation and u dont even mention the name of the software! GET VLC.

BROS the zain connection on pc will work if you use the internet.ng.zain.com apn.
i presume you are on vista? thats what happens on vista when u dial up zain with the wap apn.

ur settings should be: apn-: internet.ng.zain.com
username: internet password: internet.
incase your sim has not been activated for that apn, call customer care o!

if this is a laptop or a pc ? Has this ever occured and when does it start ?

Do you use UPS for backup when Nepa take light or have you had any power cut/storm recently ?

Is this XP or Vista. would you explain better by Unless thrugh av mode and only when pluged electricity.

My understanding of AV mode is,instead of using the computer to transfer data to the moniter it will transfer it to a tv.

Could  this mean no display when powered up ? Good luck

Som1 hlp: it was stated in my toshiba satellite l10-117 manual dat my laptop is wifi enabled and if i press the hotkey fn+f8 it'll be switch on, i've tried dat but it didn't work, and accordin 2 d manual it also shows dat at d bottom of my laptop dat there's a WIRELESS LAN COVER, after tryin, i opend d cover it was lyk a ram slot but looks smaller a bit and there's notin dere, it was empty, so i'm thinkin dat maybe d device may be missin. Plz gurus i wnt u 2 tell me if dis is d reason my wifi is disabled, and if there's any oda way i could connect wirelessly.

My prescriptions is to click start > computer > C drive or vista C > toshiba folder >driver > WLAN
click on your wireless type and folow on screen instructions > restart the computer for changes to take effect.
to verify you have succesfully installed the driver click start > run > devmgmt.msc > network adaptor. what can you see underneath ?  could be the wireless is disabled in the bios, who knows ?

I'm not confident in asking you to get a new usb wifi card unless we can prove it.
follow the diagnostics our tecs has prescribed and give us feedback. take your time

Level=Intermediate

Restart the computer and tap the F8 key to load the start-up menu
Select Enable VGA mode
Allow Windows® to load (and complete registration if necessary)
Install the monitor as Standard SVGA 1024 x 768
Restart the computer.  It should now function correctly.

Level=Advanced

Boot to bios by pressing f2 > advanced then look for AHCPI mode or sata > if you are dual booting set bios to
sata or ahcpi mode if loading windows7. if you are loading xp at that moment then Ide compatabilty mode. seems you are using HP.

If no joy>
Either insert your
vista or windows 7
installation disk >
boot from it by
pressing f8 > repair my computer

>command prompt > then type this
bootrec /fixboot

Sometimes pdf files have passwords that would restrict you from printing.

pls skylander, how do i block some porn sites dat my colleagues normally visit on my system when am not on seat in the office?

Try using windows firewall to set the restricated levels. Or use internet options on explorer to restrict access to such sites.
