I added a flash-game to the PC a few days ago and now the game generates a safesearch pop-up window in the browser.... I looked up some information and learned that the flash-game installer could contain malware which can generate pop-ups (see the info). I have removed the game's files but the pop-up is still here. How can I remove it? |

Hi, engineers in the house. I have an hp630, with a burnt board, was gonna fix it for N28k, but got another laptop from my brother. I want to sell it now as scrap as I figured the screen, keyboard, hard disk n oda components are still useful, especially for Engineers. If interested kindly whatsapp me: 09099372375,

Viewing different displays with a VGA splitter cable, via a single video port? I don't think so. A VGA splitter cable only duplicates the display, so that you can view the same display on multiple monitors. If you actually watched videos of it being done, then it should be easy for you to do. NarnieSnyper: There are two cases here; 1. Your keyboard seems to be faulty and may require replacement. 2. Do a boot scan with an up to date antivirus application. Avast is recommended. 3. You can simply re install your Os without losing files. |

Hello gurus in the house, I need help. I installed window 7 professional 64bit on my Dell e5420 series, 4gig ram, 500gig HHD. When the laptop goes to sleep, and I tried to revive it, it will wake up and freeze, nothing will work except I hold down the power button to do hard reboot. I searched on Microsoft forums but their explanation is not straightforward, and I noticed many people experienced this issue. Please help me on how to easily solve this.. Thanks! |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by shawlxAk(m): 9:41pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
A couple of things could be responsible. For instance, the cooling mechanism could be broken. If there is a fan, it could be clogged up with dust. Examine the fan to verify that it actually works. If there is a build-up of dust around it, you can try blowing air through the bottom and/or side vents to get rid of it. The manner in which you use the laptop could also cause it to overheat. When in use, make sure it's on a solid flat surface, and not on a soft surface like a mattress, sofa, etc. wunderkiind: 1 Like |
