18-Year-Old Nigerian Striker Scores Two Minutes Into Bundesliga Debut For Bayern Munich parentage Joshua Zirkzee scored on his Bundesliga debut for Bayern Munich as the champions recorded a 3-1 win against Freiburg in a matchday 16 fixture at the Schwarzwald-Stadion on Wednesday night, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. The 18-year-old came off the bench in the 90th minute with the scoreboard reading 1-1, replacing Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho and he had a big say in the outcome of the game. Two minutes into his debut, he slipped the ball though goalkeeper's Flekken legs after receiving a pass from Serge Gnabry to make it 2-1. Lewandowski's 16th minute opener was cancelled out by Grifo on 58 minutes, before Zirkzee's game-winner in injury time, then Gnabry made sure the points were safe when he scored Bayern's third goal. Aged 18 years and 210 days today, Zirkzee is the youngest ever Nigeria-eligible player to score in the German Bundesliga. A Netherlands U19 international, the prolific center forward made his first team debut for Bayern Munich against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League exactly a week ago. Ifeanyi Emmanuel

Further confirmation Man United are after Nigeria international – ‘First discussions’ with agent already done, club want €30m By Tom Coast - 18th December 2019 Earlier this week, it was revealed by Yahoo! Sport journalist Manu Lonjon that Manchester United were taking an interest in Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis. There wasn’t a lot of information in the tweet other than a scout had been present to watch the player score a nice back heel against KV Mechelen in a 3-1 win at the weekend, and that the 22-year-old fit Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans of revamping his squad with more young talent. Foot Mercato on Wednesday, however, add a bit more detail in an article confirming Lonjon’s information. The French website explain that source have told them Manchester United are indeed after the Nigeria international, and have joined other Premier League sides, like Leicester and Southampton, in the queue. Not only that, but ‘first discussions’ have already taken place between English clubs and Dennis’ agent towards a possible transfer. While that might be the case, Club Brugge will not make it easy for their forward to leave, knowing full well the talent currently at their disposal, with an asking price of around €30m for a player who has three years left on his contract in Belgium. Not exactly a huge amount for Manchester United, but we all know how reluctant they can be when it comes to spending if they aren’t 100% sure he’s the right man for them.

Kog45:I'm not particularly bringing in Giroud into the equation though and sentimentally speaking, Batshuayi would have performed as good as Tammy is doing if not better given an equal amount of games opportunity. Like you said, football is all about trust and Tammy hasn't failed in that regard Osimhen shouldn't try it because Chelsea style wouldn't favour a 4 4 2 formation like in the days of Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole of Manchester United on a consistent basis, so bench would be his destination because with the report of Chelsea going for Chukwueze, It means a 4 3 3 is the best and most preferred formation at the Bridge |

Whoever said Batshuayi is better than Tammy should not even be considered a football fan. I'm a Chelsea fan and about a season ago while hazard was still our player, bats was given all types of opportunities but failed successfully. His hold up play is trash and he doesn't score headers nor from outside the box. 1 Like |

As much as I don't fancy Tammy bkus of the shenanigans that played out prior his debut with the 3Lions, I will never be blinded by hate, that boy is everything Batshuayi wish he was. The kid is a mentor to the Batsman. He is a far more better striker, all round. 1 Like |

jihday: If Klopp is still in charge and he sticks with his style of play,I'll stick with Firmino. At the end of the 2017/2018 season, only Ndidi and Gueye had more tackles than Firmino in the premier league... That shows just how hardworking he is... 1 Like |
