Osimhen is like Mbappe – Sochaux coach Punch Newspapers Ebenezer Bajela Former Paris Saint-Germain and Lille attacker, Pierre-Alain Frau, is of the opinion that Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen, has a lot of similarities with France World Cup winner, Kylian Mbappé. Both players faced off on Sunday in a Ligue 1 clash at the Stade Pierre Mauroy Stadium, with Neymar scoring a brace to send PSG 10 points clear, trailed by Marseille who are on 42 points. Apart from sharing the same birth month, December, the Sochaux coach believes that the youngsters are enjoyable to watch because of the qualities they possessed on the pitch. “You tell me about two immense talents, both of them are already young and we have come to see them for a long time, for our happiness,” Frau said to La Voix Du Nord. “I enjoy watching them. Their big point in common is speed. They are both very fast and make a lot of difference with their calls and their races. “When they are gone, we no longer catch up with them. “Osimhen has less fantasy. What strikes me is his generosity, he is very effective. He anticipates trajectories well. He is not a dribbler. He knows how to go to the right areas. LOSC made a big hit because he brought a lot and almost made Pépé forgotten. “It’s hard to find an attacker who scores with this quality. He needed very little time to adapt; it shows his strength of character. I haven’t read many interviews with him, but he seems to know what he wants. And on the ground his attitudes are very good.” Osimhen has scored 14 goals in 28 appearances for his club since the beginning of the season, while Mbappe has 21 goals in 24 matches for PSG. Odunayaw: Yes but it is not as sexy as before. To be fair, even Maikaba never reached the heights of his first season but Akwa maintained a possession based philosophy since then, this is why John Obuh couldn't work. 1 Like |

Subzero047: Una just dey notice? That team lacks teamwork. Everyone wants to make a statement instead of putting the ball through for someone much more suitable. Without watching the match, I knew what would take place. That team is built around selfish play. Its a wonder how Kelechi still manages to get goals. And yet they will not try that nonsense when Vardy is leading the line |

European Clubs Rejecting Nigeria U17 Players After Poor Showing At World Youth Championship Almost six Nigerian players who took part at the recently concluded 2019 U17 World Youth Championship have been turned down by clubs in Europe, Owngoalnigeria.com understands. The Nigerian team was the toast of scouts before the start of the tournament judging by how well players from the team have progressed in past editions but this time around most scouts admitted that they didn’t see any player worth investing in the Nigerian team. So far only two of the players have secured deals abroad with captain Samson Tijani set to join Red Bull Salzburg while Olakunle Olusegun has joined Russian Academy side Vista which is the nursery team of Danish side Fremad. ” So far three players of the team are negotiating deals that are more like developmental as they will spend like a year on trials. The rest have been rejected. Yes as many as six were rejected by clubs that I won’t mention”, an agent revealed to Owngoalnigeria.com. ” Beside the fact that the team didn’t do well, the players individually didn’t help themselves. So it has cost them and I won’t be surprise if only two get deals abroad. It’s sad because Nigeria have a pedigree of producing good players at this level”, he concluded. Source: OGN 1 Like |

Allnigeria Soccer reports that the NFF are looking the way of Finidi George who has the Spaniah football philosophy and Emmanuel Amunike, the "real brain" behind Eaglets' WC triumph in 2013 and 2015 for the Youth teams coaching job. Seyi Olofinjana is also said to be in the race. 2 Likes |

The bolded in your post is what caused the confusion for you, Do4Luv14 and Jimmyiovine. There is no "and" in that news report.... It is "just as" They were only making reference to Amuneke when it comes to Spanish football Philosophy. Amuneke clearly has a job in Egypt. It is Finidi that is being considered among a few others and they only mentioend Amuneke as regards the football philosophy they believe Finidi have in common with him. Clementoke: 1 Like |
