The bolded in your post is what caused the confusion for you, Do4Luv14 and Jimmyiovine.

There is no "and" in that news report.... It is "just as"

They were only making reference to Amuneke when it comes to Spanish football Philosophy. Amuneke clearly has a job in Egypt. It is Finidi that is being considered among a few others and they only mentioend Amuneke as regards the football philosophy they believe Finidi have in common with him.

sorry there is no confusion there, isnt AND a conjuction thats used to refers two things togather?

You are still arguing. Abeg I no get time.

This is the original newspost... If you don't understand it. Fine.

"However, the Nigeria Football Federation are looking the way of Finidi George who has the Spanish football philosophy just as ex-Barcelona winger Emmanuel Amunike, the real brain behind Nigeria U17s World Cup wins in 2013 and 2015."

OGN reports that the best defender of the Nigerian u-17 2015 Class, Lukman Zakari has finally been granted a work permit to resume duties at Real Betis B with a view to promotion to and permanent deal with the Real Betis First team depending on his Betis B showings.

Saw the news the hour it was dropped but just decided to share it now. If true, then this is good news indeed. Another defender on the rise.

For now. As semi accurate as it is now, I really fancy the idea of Finidi. I read Seyi Olofinjana is also being considered. The PwC should just do a fine job on the recruitment of sound hands.

Time will tell shaa.

PwC are operating under the conditions given by the NFF. There is a chance Finidi will be there but not as chief coach.

Osimhen to start from the bench as Lille take on Epinal in the Coupe de France Round of 16.

Later by 19.00, it would be Chukwueze's Villarreal away at Rayo Vallecano in the Copa Del Rey Round of 16.

I just read online that
1. Gernot Rohr and NFF have decided to work together. Each have compromised their conditions.

2. Jordan Touringha has pledged his international allegiance to Nigeria.

Please somebody help me confirm.

Tbh I can’t see Finidi accepting to work as assistant to anyone, most certainly not a local coach. In the past set, I often heard rumours that Manu and Ugbade often didn’t see eye to eye, same with Aigbogun and Maikaba at U20. Lot of these older coaches have huge egos as expected. Also NFF don’t even pay assistant monthly salaries, don’t know if it will change this time around

I laughed when people said we need Osimhen's backup. Nacho is returning to super eagles to take his starting spot. Nacho will be the undisputed top striker in super eagles. Osimhen will be nacho backup not the other way round. I'm glad we have osimhen and nacho!!!!

8goals in 12 matches!!. Komekn come and see sumshin grin
Even Rohr himself will not contemplate your position above.

Instead, Nacho would be competing with Iwobi for a place while Osimhen's number 9 position remains undisputed should he remain consistent for Leicester city

For me mak we no ansa dis guy oooo
Our National team shouldn't be a second option to anybody,
This guy refused to play for us when Rohr wanted calling him saying he was waiting for a call from the German national team.
And now that the call is not coming forth, he has decided to play for us.
Rohr should use this guy to teach others a lesson.

Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure starts for Club Brugges away at Charleroi...

Meanwhile, Osimhen's Lille just got booted out of the Coupe de France by National II side, Epinal. He came in on 62 mins with Lille already 2-1 down but Epinal stayed strong.

Burnley and Premier League promotion candidates West Brom are battling it out to sign Nigerian-born Bright Osayi-Samuel, according to reports.

The print edition of the Sun claims the Baggies and Clarets are preparing to make late bids for Osayi-Samuel ahead of the close of the winter transfer market on Friday, January 31.

West Brom are targeting the winger as they have identified him as a player who can assist in their promotion push.

The former Blackpool starlet is having an excellent season at Queens Park Rangers, scoring 5 goals with 5 assists to go with it in 23 matches across all competitions.

Osayi-Samuel arrived at The Hoops on a three-year deal in the summer of 2017, meaning he is out of contract in the summer if the London club don't activate the one-year option on his contract.

The 22-year-old has 130 matches under his belt in the English Football League, logging 6,107 minutes.
