I miss those days, when our forwardline, especially our Strika, brings fear to our opponents defence for full 90 mins,

but now, its onll Osimhen , that can brings such, since the retirement of Ighalo and Moses, mikel too
Out problem isn't our forward line it's our defense

Osimhen yes, but Chuks, Ejuke, Simon, heck even Iwobi, is a no,

the first3, selfishness, and unecessary dribbles, while the last 1 cannot play full 9mmins, without burning out

Starboytwo:
just give them a little time, osihmen, chuks, ejuke, simon, will surely bring fear... I don't believe in the coach anymore, but I believe so much in these guys...

So rohr was a defender in his playing days?
We had two defenders managing our team, but they were still clueless?
Who swear for us?

as in! unfortunately guys looks well on the way to first class in shakushakuism if he doesn't adjust his game drastically. Dennis is not much better but at least he knows his way to goal.

i get what you mean but truth be told in terms of fear factor the last time we had players that could intimidate the opposition before a ball is kicked was the days of Yekini, Okocha, Oliseh and co.

Ighalo didn't really strike fear that much but yes maybe V.Moses and Mikel intimidated opposition.

Agree about Osimhen he's becoming our go to guy just shows you the difference a year makes you give someone constant playing time.

I think Obagoal was the last striker we had that I believe strike some fear against opposition defenders... He is short, but lightning speed and a very good striker...

However, ik uche is the Nigeria striker I really enjoyed watching, I mean, he is not intimidating or the fastest, but there's always a good feeling I get when he holds the ball... He was very hot for us when he was in la liga that year...

Says who?

Says the stats.

We've scored more goals in this qualifying series, with just 1 less than Algeria who has played 1 more game. Scoring is not the problem, the problem is that we ship in a lot of them.

Some of you are simply Fans with little or no understanding of Football Tactics and Formations.

Though few are always on points with their Analyses, but do spice it up with favoritism at times.

Andrew understands football no doubt, but he seems confused at times, same as some notable Members of this Thread.

Football beyond favoritism or nepotism. French National Team, German and English Teams are featuring mostly Immigrants, and they are succeeding.

If all Eleven that would deliver the Result are Northerners, so be it as far as they are Nigerians. Apparently on this Thread, some Monikers don't wanna see other Names aside from certain Names from certain parts of the Country.

When they drop their predicted Lineups, you would be so cracked up they ain't the Managers of the Squad with their makeshift Lineups - born of Favoritism/Nepotism.

Do we even have a Squad yet? Well to some extent we do. Do we have a competent Technical Crew? Capital no.
