We should have scored that big chance. That #13 no try at all. I still think this team would have fare better on a good pitch.

Western Boys pitch better pass the one wey dem dey play on.

Although we had the better chance to score, the Ivorians have been tactically superior!

The Ivorians look fitter and wanted it more, winning 90% of the 50-50 balls.
na our defense dey save us

Gabriel & Dias debatable

If you bring Tosin to Manchester City today, he would be on the bench. That is why he left Manchester City in the first place.

It is okay to lose some trophies. We have swept England scatter for years now. We actually played well and had good chances.

The blames lies with the NFF. The prep was terrible with the late appointment of the coaches.

The only thing preventing FA from stripping you of those trophies is the relationship between UAE and UK.

BTW, your superstar team couldn't beat a depleted United side.... two teenagers scored to sink your multimillionaire squad.

We no longer take our youth system seriously. When this present eagles are past their prime, we would suffer same fate as we did when Okocha's set left the scene. Another era of super chickens lies ahead.

When are we going to produce another championship u-17 winning team?
it usually bodes well for our football in general.

The eaglets won world cup in 1993,the SE followed up in 1994 with AFCON and the Olympic team, gold in 1996 Olympic games.

Similar thing happened in 2013,the eaglets won,the SE followed up, then the eaglets again in 2015.

plus all the great talents that usually emerge after the competition.

The NFF should start the habit of early preparation ,not five months to the competitions.
If they want to win,
they should start now to prepare for next edition which should be 12 months from now since it has become yearly event.

I don't know if this time will even be worse,
when Okocha was preparing to retire, we were still lucky to have Mikel step in along with some of his 2005 team mates.

But this time,no real quality on the horizon

The team's playing style is to keep possession of the ball.

A large chunk of blame goes to the midfield for not placing themselves in good positions to receive passes of the ball.
A midfield that will lose the ball because they cannot handle themselves in tight spaces. hence the concomitant back passes in order to keep possession of the ball.

Awaziem's pass was intelligently intercepted because the opponent read us well, it doesn't make Awaziem's passes of the ball poor.

We need midfielders who can receive passes from the defenders and find a way to not only locate the forwards, but also support them as they break down the opposition.

Passing the ball across your defense line like he did was never an advisable move.

If we want to continue playing from the back, our players would learn how to occupy wide positions to provide more passing outlets.

I asked you this because of Doherty because he said the the only player there who later made a name was Michael Obafemi and that was for the 2015 U17 set. Ademola Lookman was never a member of that team, neither were you one of the organizers . Ejaria only partook in 2013 U17 screening and was supposed to go with Iheanacho and co to the U17 AfCoN and World Cup but he was excused during the AfCoN preparatory matches/ campings in Nigeria because they were affecting/clashing his studies at his club side.

There is no record of Lookman ever being a part of the Nigerian youth system both home and in the UK. Lookman's first involvement with Nigerian football was his debut for the Super Eagles.

So, you lied again.

You LIED again at NO TIME have I ever said I was part of some NFF instigated U17 screening exercise in London. You Lied

At NO TIME did I say Oviemuno and Ademola were part of a U17 Nigeria national team, you LIED.

There was a spurious chaotically organised screening exercise for Nigerian origin players in Europe, with some NFF instigation. I was very much aware of it even then l had doubts of the integrity of the process.

Your create LIES and then ascribe them to a person unknown to you. You are bitter acidic twisted and unrepentant bare faced LIAR.

How about Tosin and Olise that the eagles need,
don't u think they should also indicate interest about playing for us,especially Tosin that is currently not playing for any of the English under age teams?

Don't tell me it's NFF's fault, because there is no way they must not have been approached to play for us at least once.
If they eventually fail to play for us,whose fault is it this time around, we or them?

Dude ๐Ÿ˜Ž I don't know many professional football players you know in Europe. But it's not the way things ar done.

The nation will select you not ๐Ÿšซ you to the nation.

Our NFF like all institutions in Nigeria is intrinsically and overwhelmingly corrupt. You are making assumptions you really don't know anything about.

It's not everything that happens that football players and or their associates will talk about in the public domain.

What do you think as a Nigerian is the core focus of officials in the NFF. Do you think it's national interest โ“Be honest with yourself please ๐Ÿฅบ

What are all our institutions concerned about it's all about pecuniary๐Ÿ’ท๐Ÿ’ถ๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿช™๐Ÿค‘.

Having that in mind you can make assumptions knowing how we are. I've know 2/3 National team coaches and I know when they visit players in England they expect loyalty appreciation but not just with words.

You can make clear examples about NFF coaches and officials demanding with full chest development fees. From clubs.

Do you think ๐Ÿ’ญ it's normal in the Naija context for appreciation loyalty to be given and expected by NFF officials. If you are selected into the national team.

As you know playing for the national team is a big boost and pathway to getting to Europe ๐ŸŒ. For players in Nigeria,I have heard of players signing off their bonuses to official.

However, for Nigerian origin players already making waves in Europe it adds little or no value to them. They will not expect to pay for the privilege to play for Nigeria with pecuniary appreciation.

Now you can make your own assumptions as a Nigerian.
