Awaziem should not be going on loan at this stage of his career for God's sake, We are witnessing the destruction of a beautiful career

Truth be told he doesn’t have say about where his career will go only his performance can.

Going on loan to besiktas is a blessing in disguise.

If he can make the first 11 by the start of the season. And put in a stellar performance in the champions league stage where everyone is watching. Then I see him earning a big money move.

The balls is in his court now. It’s only his performance can help him nail a permanent deal.

The potential of every Nigerian player in Abroad will blow the sky open.

We have strength, injury is not a problem for any naija player. But na that technical aspect them take they pick white above us. I’m not there with them so I can’t say about their work rate.

Players rarely leave the Turkish league for higher leagues and Turkey is a league that has no tolerance for mistakes as Awaziem is not a finished product, he needs a league with low pressure where he can play and develop and make a transition to a bigger league easily

Inshort he needs a new agent

I don't understand, but the portuguese league is better than the Turkish league. He is even the captain of Boavista and he has played in the Spanish league before and so i don't see the reason why he won't do well in Besiktas. In fact, he will enter their first 11 immediately.

I see your point clearly.

But he just needs a run of good games next season.
If he performs beyond expectations on the big stage I see him signing somewhere.

My fear is besiktas loaning him out in the beginning or mid season due to excesss to requirement

That’s my prayer let him make first 11

You should be happy. I remember during Keshi's era nonsense league
was common to our players. We had players from finish league, lithuania, latvia albania etc
At least now is an improvement.
But Awaziem will do well in Besiktas anyway.
A portuguese league player is better than a Turkish league player.
I mean portuguese league is the 6th best league in Europe (just behind the French league)
and so he will do well there going by my logic

Boavista and besiktas should not be on the same sentence

Why continue to play in league where the European league spots are held hostage by the same 2-3 teams every year when you can move to a big club that is always guaranteed a Europa/CL spot and has large visibility?

Awaziem does not have any other options. He'll be playing next to top players. This is an excellent move for the lad.

The only way he is leaving upwards Turkey is if he performs beyond expectations, the question is why put himself in such hellhole?

I would very much prefer a move to another Portuguese club or even a sideways move in Portugal than a move to the Turkish league

They dont want awaziem to join a big club like besiktas because Portuguese league is better than turkey, the last time i checked he is playing for a poor club like boavista

Or is awaziem playing for porto or benfica?

Playing in home stadiums has benefited more teams than the others in this Euros , a team not playing at home is automatically at a disadvantage

Truth be told, if it was us facing France, Rohr would've started berating our players, saying that we lack world class players and how we do not play Champions League, etc.

We need a coach that'll breathe confidence and determination into our team.

Moving to Turkey may on paper not look like the greatest transfer in the world but at this stage in his career he needs somewhere he can get regular game time and opposition that will further sharpen his defensive skills. With the AFCON and WC (potentially) next year Awaziems needs to be staking a claim to the SE starting XI. Also don't forget Ekong from the doldrums of Turkish league was able to make a progressive move to Serie A and now he's in EPL.
