Our poor league is affecting our National team,we now settle for players rejected by Oyibo countries

Your words really shows your knowledge of foot ball as it concerns knowledge

U really need to understand that the problem of super eagles is not dearth of players but a sound coach

Maduka Okoye became a national team goal keeper from German 4th division because we didn't have good keepers in our league

Do you have world class defenders? goal keepers? How many world class players do we have?

Our league produced Odegbami, Christian Chukwu,Muda Lawal,Keshi, uche Ikechukwu, west,Kanu, okocha,Ammunike, Ikpeba etc. They wouldn't have played for Nigeria if they were born in England, Germany, France etc.

TheGoodJoe:

You are missing the point. The point is to have a massive scouting pool and finding hidden gems. Our football can not go past anything when we do not have the best players in the world. We need to keep searching.

Unless you are saying our team and pool base are the best in the world. If they are not then we are doing ourselves a disservice from not thoroughly searching and developing.

Look at the work of Maigari and what we have now. It could be better.
I'm saying that the pool at home is too dirty, there ain't no fishes in it.

Then, Nigerian league was good.
Not that it was good per se. World football was still at the level where our players from our league could cope. Now with scientific football, they have been left behind. Football has become intellectual but we have still not transitioned to groom our league players that way.

Napoli will have to settle for a Champions league spot if they continue to drop points at home to teams like Hellas and it's likes.
And Napoli have only played Juventus and Roma, they haven't played Milan, Inter and Lazio and their result against these 3 teams will still determine how far they are ready to go this season.
I took out time to watch Fiorentina vs AC Milan, Serie A is on fire right now, end to end stuff. Was happy AC Milan lost points but I’m impressed with Fiorentina striker Vlahovic shocked
That boy is on fire.
Seems Arsenal are gunning for him
€80 million for a 22 year old phew!
Atalanta & Inter are still in the race though
Hopefully Napoli take the bull by the horn against Inter tomorrow
Osimhen is already way down the top scorer table

no, will be easier for an inferior team to qualify. You can just park bus score a counter attacking goal and go and lock shop. Let them play for 180min
