Yes I agree that Ramsdale being vocal is his biggest call to fame and I'm not saying he isn't good I'm just saying he's overhyped. The best GK In the world, Donnarumma, is the most quiet I have seen. Then there's also Oblak.
No need for too much talk, just read this article written after his heroics against Leicester before he started conceding like...
https://zonalsports.com/16/aaron-ramsdale-world-class-talent-overhyped-englishman As a Coach or fan, i don't think it's ideal to want to reason quietness or loud is what makes a keeper classy or etc. He's not even top loudest gks in the epl. So I don't mind if he talks like Mou or screams like Mweene or El Hadary. I won't use that to decide hype or performance. They can't have same personalities. So, he's not overhyped. But he does have the 2nd most camera focus on gk in the epl after Ederson due to how they react after a goal os scored. Its the EPL!! 1 Like |

Philosopher1979: YORI YORI FOOTBALL, THE NEW CONCEpT OF FOOTBALL FROM NIGERIA THAT WILL CONQUER THE WORLD
Yori Yori football is rooted in Nigerias history and culture as a footballing nation. Tikitaka has conquered the world We have seen the Brazilian Samba and the Gegen press. NOW IS THE TIME FOR YORI YORI FOOTBALL It is a combination of African or NIgerian, Brazilian and Dutch football. It has been played down the decades by various Nigerian teams and now in modern times it finds it fullest expression. Examples of this unique brand of football are: The 2015 u17 world cup winning team The 2014 u17 world cup winning team The Olympic team of atlanta 96 The afcon winning teams of 1980 and 1994. The brand of football is unique and not team from Europe or South America can understand it. Amunike played it with the u17 team and fifa could not understand Nwakalis role. I BELIEVE THAT STARTING FROM NEXT YEAR THIS STYLE OF FOOTBALL WILL START CONQUERING THE WORLD THE WORLD SHOULD GET READY JUST AS SAMBA pRODUCED pELE AND TIKI TAKA pRODUCED MESSI, YORI YORI WILL pRODUCE A NEW AFRICAN WORLD pLAYER OF THE YEAR FROM NIGERIA. WE WILL BE UNCONQUORABLE WITH THIS BRAND OF FOOTBALL. You see it is when we Africans embrace our uniqueness that we can actually conquer the world. Adaptation and not immitation is the key to Africas progress and in Yori Yori football our unique style of play adapted to modern football will conquer any team
I love the sound of the name. But it is a philosophy with a track across journalism world? Just asking? It would ve sweet if it can start from there. But even sweet if that pattern is noticeable from the NPFL with neccesary hype from one to six club managers doing it and then its success on continental caf level. Else, na noise o. I wish Intentionality on this was rife. |

Any Nigerian will easily understand Osimhen's post. Any naija celeb will post like that and will get a million engagements. But his European fans can't even understand him, sincerely.
It doesn't have to be bad. Its what's at stake here that should be considered. He needs to carry them along and probably cut less on the street boi levels. He's more than a naija star. He's a world star already. Adjustment is required.
We his Nigerian fans will always understand this. We should be happy we have someone carrying our indigenous language and culture to the world. Instead, we keep bashing the guy because he refuses to conform to the traditions of foreigners. Funny thing is, if Messi or Aguero post in Spanish or Ronaldo in Portuguese we will all be impressed at how they are repping where they are from (some people will even go as far as learning spanish to reply or using google translate), but when our own decides to post in pidgin which is our own language we keep bashing him everyday. charlesemeka85: With iheanacho consistently warming the bench at lesicester if I am to be the coach of the team I will replace him with David okereke on the list Iheanacho is one of the reasons why Rohr was sacked. Rohr began to lose the plot when he began to change formation to accommodate Nacho and Osimhen on the pitch in a 3-5-2 which clearly didn't work. But Rohr did not know when to stop. He went ahead to invite Ighalo, thinking pairing Ighalo and Osimhen is the answer to the team's malnourished performance. How could a coach who has spent 5 years with the team not know that our strength is from our wing pairs- Wingers and wing backs. We had Chuks, Kalu, Ejuke, Aina, Ebuehi and even prospective Lookman and Dennis. He kept them all on the bench for Simon and Collins. With the kind of arsenal we have, our best formation is 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. We must NEVER change formation to suit Iheanacho. If Iheanacho must play he should be competing with Osimhen as the top striker - 9, otherwise he should remain on the bench. Knowing Rohr it would take him ages to eventually realise what he was doing wrong, hence my support for his sack. 23 Likes 1 Share |

To be honest it was as if you spoke my mind. How Rohr didn't see the prospect in Aribo is beyond me. Ever since he score that goal against Brazil, I knew he should be competing with Iwobi in the No. 10 role. And I still do not understand Rohr's utter disrespect for the wing pairs. Did he forget VM's role in the demolishing of Cameron and Algeria back then? Or Kalu's impact goal against Benin republic? Chuks was the reason we were brilliant in that friendly against Ukraine and in that 4-goal thriller vs SLeone. Even Aina's super assist was the reason we could make it out of the group in the last Afcon when we couldn't score in that game. It was okay to experiment with Nacho but how long should it take him to realise that he was stiffening our wing strength. He axed all of them (Chuks, Ejuke, Sanusi, Kalu, Aina, Ebuehi, Lookman, Dennis, Onyekuru) just to accommodate Iheanacho, and when that wasn't working, he was going to keep axing them for Osimhen-Awoniyi or Osimhen-Ighalo combo. To be honest I'm glad he is gone. He is a good guy and I like him but his complacency and slow reactive attitude was hurting us real bad. 11 Likes 1 Share |

It was glaring that Rohr didn't know the strength of his team himself.. He wouldn't have continued using the 2 man striker formations if he knew well that Osimhen function better as a lone target man with support from the flanks.. He also won't be playing another holding midfielder alongside Ndidi if he knew that Ndidi at Leicester operate better as a lone DM.. Just so many wrong selections... 12 Likes |

I pray Osaze comes good at Celtic too so him and bassey will form our central defensive pair in the nearest future
Also the nff and eguavoen should reach out to udinese’s left back udogie. Have followed him closely and must confess that he is better than both Sanusi and Collins
Eguavoen should use this afcon to incorporate akpoguma fully to the team, if possible drop ekong for the hoffenheim man if the watford cb continues to underperform. An awaziem and akpoguma combination should be tried in friendlies prior to the afcon
If club form is the basis for national team selection. Anyone watching Qatar vs Egypt?
That Qatar keeper is good.. i don't know why Okoye can't be making those type of saves this guy has been making.
He has saved like two 1-on-1s
Actually, Egypt is nothing without Salah and few other of their players that are not there. |
