Ndidi is a DM. The work he does on the pitch is for the trained eye.

His does his work very well.

He played well against Newcastle United.

He played as a CB against Newcastle you don't even watch him

Evans and Soyuncu were the CB's.
Ndidi featured as a DM.

So you saw Ndidi in that match and concluded he was a CB, because you already have concluded in your head where his best position should be.

Do you know the work of a DM?
So his positioning and movements in that match, was that of a CB to you?

How Iwobi managed to pass to his right rather than playing the player through on goal was embarrassingly shocking. Like man common that's a goal looming and even with his head raised, player spotted man still spun the chance.

Man needs to retire to the bench and learn some basics

I would even go further to note that if Europe withholds Africa's players, then I can see Algeria possibly becoming back to back champs.

Whoscored may indeed give them both a 9.5 average.

But taken in the context of the league they play in Turkish league ranked 18 in Europe and l am certain the Segunda is much lower in quality and competitiveness than the Turkish league.

Last season Awaziem played for Boavista on loan ftom Porto yet Boavista did not try to retain him Or any other team in the Portuguese league. WHY ,he was too good

You could get a 10 score from Whoscored playing for Warri Wolves in the NPFL, will that put you on par with the English premier League ❓❓

Let's be real and stop walking on eggshells , these two playo are not quality players, at best just average.

I remember when Omeruah returned to Chelsea a few seasons ago he was told to train with the U18 not even the U23. That tells you how much they rated him

My appraisal of them is not from their Whoscored ratings.
I don't even know their rating on Whoscored.
But i beg you not to look down on Whoscored, those guys are very good.

The quality of the league they feature in, doesn't make them below par.
You will need more than talent to feature at the biggest stage.

Mr Komekn, I will pick Awaziem and Omeruo ahead of some EPL defenders.
Most EPL clubs don't have good defenders.

Eguavoen confirmed Rohr 40 man list, possibly five players were removed and new five replaced the removed ones....until the team list comes out before we really know who made the team.
Well the list has been expanded to 28 team so I feel there won't be need for removal

Actually, Awaziem is one of our best defenders.
I watched him play for Nigeria in the qualifiers and he was very good.
He is in Turkey because his old club (Boavista) could not pay his wages.
Also, maybe his agent did not advertise him well.

Home grown African talents are not well advertised by their agents and thus, it is no fault
of there's that they are not always in the big leagues or clubs.
Believe it or not Awaziem with the way he plays is one of our best defenders and even Rohr during his time
could never drop him from the team.
He has been fantastic in Turkey and he will join a big team or league as time goes on.

As per Omeruo he is average but you are right. A lot of players in the bottom 10 of the English league
and in division 2 are not better than him. He is at the same level if not better than Semi Ajayi or
players in a club like Newcastle.
Life is not always fair and assessing a player by his league is not always straight forward.
in fact, if Simmy Nwankwo was born in Europe, given his career record, he will not be in Salernitania
but again, he does not have a good agent.

“I Know Say We Agreed On Friends With Benefits,Which One Kon Be Say You Don Dey Fall In Love With Me"

If you translated what Osimhen said to English, he meant:

I know we agreed on being just friends who have sex (intimacy is the right word), so why are you telling me you have fallen in love with me?

Meme or not? This category of public figure should never post this.

So when Zlatan posted that as he left MLS, Americans should go back to playing baseball, you think that was not offensive to an entire nation?

Zlatan said on national TV that Carlos Vela, the best player in the MLS, is a poor player because he is not in Europe at his prime. That's slandering both a player and a league at once. Did you see anyone bash Zlatan?

All sport is entertainment, and sportsmen entertain on and off the field. As long as what he says is not bad (inciting violence, hate speech etc) then he has the right to say whatever he likes on social media. Or have you ever heard any news that Osimhen missed training because of an orgy or he brought prostitutes to the training ground before? He does his job on the pitch and that is what matters.

Confidence Booster??

Big Error if any of the North African teams see it that way. I hope they rep well in Cameroun though.
Sir,Algeria is the Afcon defending champion and went to Arab cup and won it....irrespective of the opponents in Arab cup,it is something good for the team....here we are not talking about North African teams but Algeria as a team.

Algeria is a team to beat in Afcon,so no need to downplay the team.

I doubt Algeria will attain that level of Indomitability. E fit be Mali wey go stun them. E dey happen. If we beat them that night before that silly freekick Mahrez scored, im sure most of us won't look at them the way we are looking at them now. But they can win it one or two before 2028

Yes...in football no matter the opponent, coming out as a winner always boost the team ego...that's my point.

IF WE BEAT THEM...do we beat them?NO but at the end they won Afcon beating Senegal....that's what make a champion.

The team still look solid from 2019 till date and this is the reason why people still rate them not cos they won 2019 Afcon.

Yes in football anything can happen cos I remember Senegal defeated France the defending champion 1-0 in 2002 WC...Cameroon beat Argentina in Italian 90.....but on paper Algeria should reach Afcon semi final.
