Rohr never rated Dennis, he had to bulge to pressures from fans before sneaking in his name to the list. On the other hand, Dennis doesn't rate us either. I don't think he has that Osimhen kind of love for this country. I think it's best he stays with his club while those who have hunger to play come in to don our jerseys..

By the way, most of the speakers on the space are bit pessimistic as if all other countries are doing something fantastic as regards preparation at the moment.

Bro, other countries who believe they can really push for the trophy are preparing pretty fine oo. It seems you don't follow these other nations

If it is true, the NFF won't win.. Watford will present good evidence against them... To them, they didn't get the official invitation at the time stipulated by FIFA, so they have every right to hold on to the player...

It's fine if he doesn't make the list, he should stay focus with his club.

Amaju is only after the 19million dollar accruable from playing a nonsensical every 2 years world cup...he was a front leader in campaigning for tge cancellation of this Afcon just to satisfy Infantino and push World club cup to the front burner.

Amaju is not after football development in Nigeria but after huge FIFA grant and donors, by the way to him, Afcon winner takes hone less than 3million home.

U wear bra for eye grin grin

Didn't u c his name in d published 40man list?

D problem with our football is administration.. Rohr has submitted dis list almost two month now b4 his dismissal.. Y did NFF failed to notify those clubs b4 now?...dey waited till die minute..they av to b blamed ,

Are you comparing Liverpool that is in Top 4 to Watford that is battling relegation?

Or are you comparing Dennis to Salah?
Is Liverpool not fighting for EPL?
Do you know how much his absence may hurt their title ambition?

Just pray this Equeavon does not flop
Because with this tactics you guys are using to defend his lopsided list

A man that spend minutes talk on how the 1994 team plays instead of revealing his own team tactics and approach to games but instead all he was dishing out was westerwolf tactics and team play.

I am not worried..been that after afcon he will be replaced and when Pinnick leaves him and Aigbogun will leave with him

Some of this Indigenous Coaches always proves the fraud and corrupt nature that have limited their progress all this while

Right in Leicester you will see the Kolou Toure cutting it in coaching same with Yaya Toure in Russia and Frimpong in Switzerland and many other Africa countries ex players but for our ex internationals nothing of such to be attached to them....all they talk when opportune reveal team tactics is to reveal how the 1994 team plays as if the 1994 team won a world cup or even got to the semi finals of the mundial

Keep raising the embers of mediocrity will remind u when the Coach You're busy defending shows how inept he is
We should at least give him the benefit of the doubt and see how the team plays during the AFCON. Who knows he might even impress us. Whatever the outcome, a new coach has been appointed and that takes care of the future.

It's a matter of maturity and leadership mentality. Just like Cavani.

Which is why he was captain of Genk even from the bench.

9 days to go. It's safer to go with players that have been with the team at some point at least.

Quality players are quality player's, arguement no deh, it's national team.

New Managers come in and within days the team cohesion has changed and it seems like a new team winning games that they would otherwise have lost previously.

Consider the immediate and dramatic change of fortunes at Tottenham with Manager Antonio Conte appointed 2nd November. Did he know any of the players ❓ Knowing players prior, can be a disadvantage, because you become sentimental and emotive as opposed to measured objectivity.

It's not safer to go with the mediocrity that you know than the quality that is available, because you don't know them.

That's not progress, although its how we do our things in Nigeria, PMB has appointed people he knows, look at where we are now.

That narrative may suit the various competing interests in the NFF but it's not a recipe for success but the opposite.

Apple and oranges.....Liverpool chasing after the league, Watford fighting to escape relegation.

Is Salah dispensable?

That's clear cut non sentimental objectivity made with quantifiable key performance indicators.

Dessers plays in a far less competitive league than the highly esteemed Segunda Division we can deduce from that proposition.

Value! dumdum. His debut goal was so glorious they never called him again! grin

I knew even if the point was a signboard you'd still miss it.
So they process nationality switch faster/slower based on the said player's value? It's like something is seriously wrong with you. Did Shola Ameobi and Victor Moses have the same value when their own took 10 months to process? Defending incompetence to the core has always been a Nigerian thing

I hope he doesn’t get the call up for World Cup too
We can use other players ready to compete for us. Not by force to be honest.
Osimhen wants to play but Napoli has refused to let him go
Oh well Nigeria isn’t winning the trophy without its best legs
Egypt’s Salah & Senegal’s Mane will be at the tournament
I don’t understand why players not as big as these guys will be excused
They won’t miss more than 6 club games

Dennis want to play for naija just the way osimhen want to play for naija ,stop painting him bad abeg

Osimhen want to play but Napoli refuses to let him go ,so it’s Dennis that don’t wanna play ?

The double standards here sha
